MASTERBRIEF(Updated:1/8/13)1MissionStatementsMaintenanceTheprimarymissionoftheCCSDMaintenanceDepartmentistomaintainthefacilitiesandphysicalplantsinsuchamannerastoensuretheclassroomenvironmentwillsupporttheeducationalgoalsofthedistrict(improvingstudentachievement)inaneffectiveandefficientmanner.OperationsOurmissionistoimprovestudentachievementandthelearningenvironmentinapositiveandproactivemanner.Wearecommittedtosharedvalues;achievingthehighestlevelofcustomersatisfactionwithemphasisonthecreationofpositivecommunicationwithalldepartments,schools,andcommunity.Utilizeenvironmentallyfriendlyproductswhileresearchingwaystoconservenaturalresourcestoprotecttheenvironment.Thesuccessofourmissionrequiresthededicationofallstaffbythecontinualre-assessingofbuildingneeds,staffing,training,products,andtechniquestomaintainindustrystandards.Grounds/LandscapingWecreateanaestheticallypleasingandsafeexternalenvironmentforstudents,staff,andthepublicwiththegoalofimprovingstudentachievement.Todothisweperformroutine,preventive,andrenovationLandscapingandGroundsworkfocusingonSafety,Efficiency,andEnvironmentalConservation.2
