雅思阅读推断题如何备考?

推断题题型特点

雅思阅读推断题每一套题中都会消失,而且频率不低于两次,所以烤鸭们要好好备考。推断题常见的形式一般为“TRUE/FALSE/NOTGIVEN”,还有一种形式为“YES/NO/NOTGIVEN”,不过不常见。考试的时候大家留意一下,不要讲TRUE写成了YES,造成失分。

一般来说,推断题假如有三道题目,那么一般这三种状况会各占一种;假如有四道题目,那么一般TRUE重复的可能性最大;假如有六七道题目,那么一般每种状况会消失两次。这些规律大家只可参考,考试的时候还是根据原文和选项的描述来进行有效推断。

做题技巧

一、TRUE的推断技巧:

1.题目还是原文的同义表达

原文:IntheUnitedStatesandCanada,murderratesdoubled10to15yearsafter

theintroductionoftelevision,afterthefirstTVgenerationgrewup.

题目:ThereweremoremurdersinCanadaafterpeoplebeganwatchingTV.

分析:double是more的详细体现,afterpeoplebeganwatchingTV与afterintroductionoftelevision为同义替换

2.题目是原文的归纳总结

原文:Amonglacierflowsabout10inchesperdayinthesummerand5inchesperdayinthewinter.

题目:Glaciersnormallymoveatarateofabout5to10inchesaday.

分析:题目是对原文的一些归纳总结

二、FALSE的推断技巧:

1.直接相反

原文:Aspeciesbeesextinctwhenthelastindividualdies.

题目:Aspeciesissaidtobeextinctwhenthelastindividualexists.

分析:前面的家最都一样,只有dies和exists完全相反。

2.原文是多个并列(both,and,or,also),而题目中是必需或者只有(must,only)

原文:Virtuallyallof3500researchstudiesonthesubjectinthepast40yearshaveshownthesamerelationship.

题目:OnlyonestudyhasfoundaconnectionbetweenTVandviolentbehavior.

分析:一般肯定性表达都是错的,此处消失3500researchstudies与theonly冲突。

3.原文是某种理论或者是感觉,比如theory,feel等,而题目是事实或已经被证明,常有fact或者prove等词。

原文:Theprofessorfeels/guessesthatH7N9cantransmitfrompeopletopeople.

题目:TheprofessorprovesthatH7N9cantransmitamongthepeople.

分析:明显,feels/guesses与proves是程度不同的词汇。

三、NOTGIVEN的推断技巧

1.题目内容在原文完全或者部分未提到

原文:IntheUnitedStatesandCanada,murderratesdoubled10to15yearsaftertheintroductionoftelevision,afterthefirstTVgenerationgrewup.

题目:TheUnitedStateshasmoreviolenceonTVthanothercountries.

分析:文中消失美国犯罪率高的定位仅此一处,只是自身翻倍,并没有与其他国家的对比。

2.主题动作发生的时间段不一样,导致主题信息无法推断。

原文:CenterwalltestedthispatterninSouthAfrica,wheretelevisionbroadcastswerebanneduntil1975.

题目:TVwasintroducedinSouthAfricainthe1940s.

分析:对于南非的电视状况只有禁播,没有提到引入的相关信息

3.两个事物在题目中是比较关系,而原文只提到其中任何一部分。

题目:Publiccollegescostlessthanprivatecolleges.

原文:…afull-timestudentatapublicfour-yearcollegepaysanaverageof$8,655forin-statetuition,roomandboard.Afull-timestudentinapublictwo-yearcollegepaysanaverageof$1,359peryearintuition.

分析:题目中比较的是公立学校和私立学校学费,但是文中比较的是2两年制和4年制公立学校费用的比较。
