●Someofthemostimportantpropertiesofmaterialsinhigh-technologyapplicationsarestronglyinfluencedorevencontrolledbythepresenceofsolidinterfaces.

●Itiswidelyappreciatedthatahighlyinterdisciplinaryapproachholdsthegreatestpromiseforprovidingnovelinsightsintothefundamentalphysical,chemical,electronic,andmechanicalprocessesatsolidinterfaces.

●Theimportanceofinterfacematerialsisbasedprimarilyontheirinherentinhomogeneity,i.e.thefactthatphysicalpropertiesatornearaninterfacecandifferdramaticallyfromthoseofthenearbybulkmaterial.●Anapproachutilizingthecomplementarycapabilitiesofcomputersimulationandexperimentseemstobeparticularlypromisingintheinvestigationofstructure-propertycorrelations.固态界面的特点:固态界面的分类:
