notes.Others,likeEmma,weremoreinterestedintryingtotake
itapart.

scientificgraph(图表)orchartofincreasingsealevelsorextreme
weathereventoccurrences.
However,usingpolarbearsastheonlyiconofourchanging
climateisflawed(有错的).Forone,itonlyrepresentsoneeffectof
climatechange,globalwarming,andnotclimatechangeitself.lt
neglectstoaddressotheraspectssuchasextremeweather
events,oceanacidification,etc.Whileglobalwarmingisan
importantimpactofclimatechange,theotheraspectsneedto
becommunicatedaswellsinceclimatechangemaynoteven
causewarmingincertainpartsoftheworld—itcouldleadto
severesnowstormsorcolderwintersinstead.Thus,
communicatingtheseotherelementsisvitalbecauseitcan

Moreover,usingpolarbearsisproblematicbecausemost
peopledonotliveanywherenearpolarbearhabitat.Thismakes
polarbearsfeelfarremovedfromourownpersonalreality一
thusmakingclimatechangefeelfarremovedfromour
lives.Sinceclimatechangeisanythingbutadistantphenomenon,
asymbolthatcommunicatesthewaysinwhichtheclimatecrisis
affectshumanscouldbemoreconvincingandpushmorepeople
toact.

changeislimitedinconveyingthefullscopeofourclimatecrisis,

environmentalissuesandinspiringviewerstodivedeeperinto
