Robots单元核心话题是机器人,阅读文章以Claire对机器人Tony情感的变化为主线涉及到很多关于人物情感的词汇,除了形容词以外,也涉及到人物情感有关的名词,动词等。学生对一些简单的情感词汇已有涉猎如happy,

excited,

relaxed,

worried

etc.

如何理解并且运用本单元的情感新词如embarrassed,

alarmed,

envied

etc

是关键问题.

在学习的过程中,

大多数学生只能记住其中文含义,对其意义和运用仍然非常模糊。因此,基于本单元话题Robots的基础上,通过回归课文,词汇分类,探究词汇用法,描述影片人物情感,拓展话题“翻译机器人”的发展,将词汇融入阅读中,引导学生辩证地对待机器人和人工智能。这是一节词汇“运用”课,旨在帮助学生利用所学词汇,

在体验中获得“使用”的乐趣。教学理念及思路语言学家吕叔湘先生指出:“词语要嵌在上下文里头才有生命,才容易记住,才知道用法。”词汇在语言中不是孤立存在的,它只是在具体的句子中才有意义。根据英语学习的特点,教师应该坚持“词不离句,句不离文”的原则,有针对性地把词汇放到特定的语境中讲解。同时,要引导学生把词和句子、语篇结合起来,在具体语境中去理解词的意义,掌握词的用法。因此,如果词汇仅靠教师的讲解和学生被动记忆,往往导致学生缺乏用英语表达真情实感的能力。鉴于此,本课的思路是:以单元话题Robots

为基础,以语境运用为核心,探究词汇用法,利用所学词汇拓展单元话题,基于英语学科四大核心素养的要求,实现词汇的形式、意义和用法的有机结合。教学目标知识目标1.
