What:Thisisareadingmaterialinwhichtherearetwopartsofthetextstodescribewhatanunderdogisanddelivertheunderdogspiritstowhoeverfacethechallengesbothinsportsandlife.

Why:Byreadingthetwopartsofthetext,studentswillbeactivatedtogoinforthingstheyloveandalwayslearntoovercomedisadvantagesanduncovertheiradvantagesorgoodqualitiesinlife.Agoodunderstandingofthisisboundtosetupandexertagreatimpactontheiroutlookoflifeaswellastheirsenseofvalue.

How:Thetypeofthetextsisnarration.Withsimpleandusefuldescriptionsandconversationsofhowayoungstudentconqueredthedifficultieswheninunfavorablesituations,studentsareabletograspthegistofthetextandmasterthestructureofthetextsaswell.Ontopofthat,thenativeexpressionofEnglishwouldbringfreshlanguagebuilderswhicharealsothekeytoimprovingtheiroralEnglish.

Firstly,studentswilllearnthedefinitionoftheunderdoganditsassociatedstoryofayoungboywhowastroubledbysomedisadvantageseventhoughhehadmadealltheendeavorstochangethebadsituationbutearnedhisplaceontheteameventually.
