sectorsfacinglong-termshortages.Domesticdemandhasproventobeastabilizingforce,buoyedbyresilienthouseholdconsumptionandgovernmentinvestmentininfrastructure
andsustainability.Exportgrowth,thoughslower,continuestocontributepositively,
especiallyinlogistics,manufacturing,andprofessionalservices.34However,global
uncertaintyandweakexternaldemandacrossEuropehavetemperedbusinesssentiment,pushingfirmstoadoptmoreflexiblehiringandcostmanagementpractices.
Laborforceparticipationremainsexceptionallyhighat76.3percent—oneofthe
highestratesintheEU.35
