2、an activity of “Experience a Low-carbon Day” during the Labor Day vacation. In the morning, we went to park by bus instead of going by car. At noon, when we dined out in a restaurant, we refused to use the disposable chopsticks served there. Instead, we each took with us a lunch box in which there w
3、as a pair of chopsticks and a spoon. In the afternoon, we went shopping at a supermarket. To avoid the damage,the free plastic bags caused to the environment, we put what we had bought into cloth bags. It was hot at night. We didnt turn on the air conditioners. We used electrical fans to cool oursel
4、ves down. Although the activity lasted only one day, we have learned a lot from it. We realize that we should take actions for our earth from the small things around us. In this way, we are sure to live in a better world.,In the morning of the first day, Wang Hong and I decided to take bus instead o
5、f driving car to the park so that there would be less air pollution to the environment. After a while, the bus for park came and we went to the park merrily. Later, in the afternoon, two classmates and I went to the restaurant nearby to have lunch. All of us took our own chopsticks box with us and w
6、e refused to use disposable chopsticks in order to protect the trees that offering o2 to us. And then, in the afternoon, two classmates of my class went shopping with,their cotton bags instead of using plastic bags that have damage to our environment. Finally, in the evening, Wang Hong and I did our
7、 homework together in my home while using electric conditioning but not using air conditioning which wastes electricity. In a word, our low-carbon day calls on our awareness to have low-carbon life style so it is very meaningful. -李雪琦, Now Im delighted to introduce it to you. Early in the morning, s

11、eing selfish/self-centered. Faced with contradictions/problems, people should be flexible rather than being stubborn/single-minded.,In the picture, two goats are tied to each other with a rope. They both see some grass in opposite directions, and try to pull to get their own food. They are unsuccess
12、ful, because the rope is too short to allow them to eat the food at the same time. The picture is trying to tell us that cooperation is better than conflict. Both of the goats want their food at the same time, which has formed a conflict between them. However, if they decide to cooperate and eat the
13、 grass,on the left first, and then the grass on the right, they will both be able to get their food. Thus things will turn into a “win-win” situation. Therefore, remember that sometimes our goal is not that we get something and the other gets nothing, but that all people get what they want. Cooperat
14、ion will benefit everyone.,From this picture I can tell that there are two goats and each of them is willing to go to the opposite direction to eat the grass, but they cant manage to achieve their goal because of the same rope connecting them. In my opinion, it is a wiser choice if one of them can c
15、ompromise and work together to go to one direction first, and then the other. In this way, they can eat the grass easily and harmoniously. It is the same in our daily life that we must learn to compromise to ensure teamwork,which will do good to both of us. Therefore, we need to learn a lesson from
16、these two goats and to compromise to earn benefits in teamwork. -郑可欣,There are two goats in this illustration.
