文档简介

、,Hydraulics,Introduction,Three independent systems Hydraulic system provides power to operate primary and secondary flight controls, wheel brakes, nosewheel steering and landing gear extension and retraction,Introduction,Six Hydraulic Pumps Primary Pumps (Always Running): 1A - Engine Driven Pump (ED

、P) 3A - Alternating Current Motor Pump (ACMP) 2A - Engine Driven Pump (EDP) Backup Pumps (In Auto, Only when flaps are 0 degrees) 1B, 3B, 2B Alternating Current Motor Pumps (ACMPs),System 1 and 2,System 1 and 2 are similar except for reservoir size and the components they power Major components are

、stored in the aft equipment bay with exception of the engine driven pumps,System 1,What components are powered by system 1? Rudder and elevator Left aileron and left spoileron Flight spoilers Outboard ground spoilers,System 2,What components are powered by system 2? Rudder and elevator Right aileron

、 and right spoileron Flight spoilers Inboard Ground Spoilers Main landing gear bay auxiliary actuators Outboard brakes,System 1 and 2,Components Reservoir Not uniform size Filled via ground service panel Accumulators Not shown on page Stores fluid under pressure Dampens out pressure surges Hydraulic

、 Shutoff Valves Between reservoir and EDP Interrupts fluid flow ENG FIRE PUSH will close valve,System 1 and 2,Components Engine Driven Pumps 1A and 2A Operate with engines running Electrical Driven Pumps 1B and 2B Manually or automatically controlled Powered by crosside generator System Pressure Ind

、ications 3000 psi normal,System 1 and 2,Cooling Hydraulic fluid Cooled by air/hydraulic oil heat exchanger located in aft equipment bay Ram air scoop provides airflow to heat exchanger Electrical fan operates on ground,System 3,System 3 services the largest demands of the aircraft Major differences

、Pumps Cooling Location of components,System 3,What are the components powered by system 3? Rudder and elevator Left and right aileron Left and right spoileron Landing gear normal extension / retraction Nose wheel steering Nose gear doors Inboard brakes,System 3,Components Reservoirs Larger than syst

、em 1 and 2 Accumulators ACMP pumps 3A runs continuously 3B backup pump Mechanically or automatically controlled,Controls and Indications,Notice backup pumps are three position switches, the primary pump (3A) is only off or on. No switches exist for 1A or 2A as those pumps operate any time the engine

、 is operating,Hydraulic “B” Pump Logic,1B & 2B will work in AUTO when: Flaps 0 degrees Bus Powered 1B receives power from cross side AC Bus 2 2B receives power from cross side AC Bus 1 Cross-side generator operating 1B requires generator 2 to be operating (for load shedding reasons) 2B requires gene

、rator 1 to be operating (for load shedding reasons),Hydraulic “B” Pump Logic,IN THE AIR, ANY TIME ONE OF THE ENGINE DRIVEN GENERATORS ARE INOP, THE ASSOCIATED B PUMP WILL NO LONGER OPERATE,1B & 2B will work in ON when: In the ON position, flaps position not a factor Bus Powered 1B receives power fro

、m cross side AC Bus 2 2B receives power from cross side AC Bus 1 Cross-side generator operating 1B requires generator 2 to be operating (for load shedding reasons) 2B requires generator 1 to be operating (for load shedding reasons),Hydraulic “B” Pump Logic,Hydraulic Interlock allows 1B & 2B pumps to

、 be operated, without a generator online, only in the ON position. This allows for systems checks to be carried out while using a single generator or external power.,Hydraulic “B” Pump Logic,3B will work in AUTO when: Flaps 0 degrees Bus Powered 3B receives power from cross side AC Bus 1 3B will wor

、k in ON when: Bus powered 3B will work, regardless of switch position when: ADG is deployed,Hydraulic “B” Pump Logic,REMEMBER, IN AUTO, THE B PUMPS WILL ONLY COME ON WHEN THE FLAPS 0, RESPECTIVE BUS IS POWERED, AND RESPECTIVE GENERATOR IS OPERATIONAL THE B PUMPS WILL NOT COME ON AUTOMATICALLY DUE TO

、 PRESSURE LOSS OR AFTER ENGINE FAILURE THEY ARE NOT LOW PRESSURE RESPONDING BACK UP PUMPS!,Controls and Indications,Hydraulic Temperature,Hydraulic Quantity,Reservoir Output Lines,Normal Temp 96 C Normal Quantity 45-85%,Controls and Indications,Engine Driven Pump Output Lines,Pump Output Lines,Press

、ure Manifold Output,Hydraulic Pressure Readout,Normal Pressure 3000 PSI,Controls and Indications,Hydraulic System Distribution Color indicates the status of the system White: Adequate pressure for operations (1800 psi) Amber: Insufficient hydraulic pressure Half-intensity magenta Invalid data Brake

、pressure readout Indicates pressure in respective system Green: brake pressure is between 1000 psi and 3200 psi White: brake pressure greater than 3200 psi Amber: brake pressure less than 1000 psi,Controls and Indications,GEN 1 OFF,HYDRAULIC,1,2,3B,3A,ON,OFF,AUTO,ON,OFF,ON,ON,OFF,OFF,AUTO,AUTO,What
