1、1,龟 兔 赛 跑 故事新編,2,Once upon a time a tortoise and a hare had an argument about who was faster. They decided to settle the argument with a race. They agreed on a route and started off the race. 从前,有一只乌龟和一只兔子在争论谁跑得快。他們决定通过一场比赛来分出高低。共同选定了路线之后,他们开始了比赛。,3,The hare shot ahead and ran briskly for some time.
2、 Then seeing that he was far ahead of the tortoise, he thought hed sit under a tree for some time and relax before continuing the race. 兔子象箭一般冲了出去。跑了一阵之后,眼见已遙遙領先乌龟,它心想,可以在树下坐一会儿,放松一下,然后再继续比赛。,4,He sat under the tree and soon fell asleep. The tortoise plodding on overtook him and soon finished the ra

It continues. 但最近有人给我讲了另一个更有趣的版本。 故事是这样续下去的。,8,The hare was disappointed at losing the race and he did some Defect Prevention (Root Cause Analysis). He realised that hed lost the race on
5、ly because he had been overconfident, careless and lax. 兔子输了比賽自然很失望。它由此进行了反省(分析根本原因)。它意识到,失敗是因为自己太自信、大意、散漫。,9,If he had not taken things for granted, theres no way the tortoise could have beaten him. In keeping with his self-made commitment to be consistently fast, the hare took off and ran at top spee
