What is it?” Then I will give them another two questions and show two pictures(Li jiacheng and Bill Gates)to them.,. Let student
2、s guess who they are. Then ask students to answer following questions. “Would you want to be a millionaire? Why or Why not? I will give them 3 minutes to collect their ideas,then some students will be wanted to report their views. I think students will form different viewpoints about money.” After t
3、hat Ill say “we can find that different people hold different views about money”. Some of you think that money is the most important thing, while the others have the opposite view. Next we will learn the text to see what Charles Grays attitude to money.,Step II Pre-reading (5 minutes) Here Ill show
4、students one luxury house and one small apartment and ask students to consider: “which one will you choose to live in and why? “How about Charles Grays choice?” Here, students will have two minutes to collect their ideas and make a prediction about Charles Grays choice.,Next, Ill show some pictures

At last Ill introduce students to know Charles Gray These introductions and predictions can motivate students to learn some details about Charles Gray, as well as to understand Charles Grays choice. 6、dents motivation and curiosity may grow gradually.,StepIII While-reading (18 minutes) In this period there are four tasks to help students get information, and improve their reading strategies. These four tasks can help students master the key words and phrases, gain the main ideas of each paragraph
7、, and completely the details of the context so that I can help them improve their reading ability and achieve the knowledge objects partly. Moreover, I can prepare them well for the next task.,Step IV Post-reading(10 minutes) I will ask students imagine they are Charles and they are having an interv

Using useful details of the context to design a TV Interview makes students better master the information of the context and improves students speaking ability.
