5、nvironment, the forest ecosystem and the biodiversity.on the other side there are a lot of young people who have finished their school and have no idea what they shall study or work in future. for this reason cooperating with gtz, the general station of forest pest control organized the forestry env

6、ironmental protection youth volunteer action, which used the germany “volunteer ecology year (fj)” for reference, to improve the peoples environment protection consciousness at first. and second to give the volunteers some orientation and qualifications for the work in the field of natural and espec

7、ially foresty protection. many youth were selected to advocate using biopesticide and to popularize the knowledge of environment protection and biodiversity in countryside or forestry areas. the tenet of this action is to call out the people to use no harmful pesticide, to protect the environment an

8、d to take care of the human health at the same time of forest protecting. this action is started from the beginning of 2002 and the theme is “use no harmful pesticide, make achievement at present and do benefit in future”. 20 volunteers were selected from the forest pests and diseases occurring areas. according to the plan, they will be trained for three times. the training content includes the knowledge of environmental protection and particularly biodiversity protection, the importance of beneficial insects and birds, and the technology of forest pests
