3、ictures, computer iv、teaching procedures. step 1、leading-in t: good afternoon, boys and girls. how are you today? ss: fine, thank you. t: we are going to learn something new today. please look at the title “some things may have different meanings in different cultures”,what does it mean? ss: 一些事情在不同
4、的文化里面有不同的意思。 guess what does it mean.ok, please look at the no.1 picture.he opens his mouth to show his. ss:surprise. t:yes.look at the second one.what is he doing? ss: he is stamping his foot to show his anger. t:yes, you are right. next,id like to show you some pictures andt:yes,you are so clever.
5、look at the third one. ss:he is shaking his head to show his disagreement. t: what about the fourth one? ss: it means “good” or “well done”. t:look the fifth one. ss: he puts his finger before his mouth.it means “be quiet” or “secret” t: lets come to the last one. ss:it show victory. t:you all did a

7、eeling and ideas without a word. step 2、presentation t: body language has different meanings in different cultures. for example, when someone raises his thumb, he may mean“good” or he want to ask for a ride. the passage in 1a introduces some body languages to us, lets watch the video and answer the
8、following questions. (after watching the video) t: what does jane do when she says “hello” to yukio? ss: she waves her hand. t: how does yukio say “hello” to jane? ss: he bowed.t: when miss wang is unhappy, what she will do? ss: she will put her hand on her hips. t: lets go over the passage together
9、 and learn some key points. step 3、practice 1、play the tape recorder. let the ss do 1b. t: listen to the tape and finish 1b. (check the answer together) 2、play the recording again and let the ss do 1c. t: listen to the tape again. this time, you fill in the blanks, but dont try to complete the words
10、 at one time; you can just write the short forms at first. you can finish them after listening. (check the answer together) 3、let the ss study and discuss the gestures in 2a and try to match the meaning with the gesture. t:we have learned some gestures, now we will learn more. study and discuss the

14、heavy, heavy, i am heavy. fat, fat, i am fat.(要求学生站起来跟着教师一起做动作,重复一次即可) 2. presentation 1)教师做动作,让学生猜形容词,tall short nice heavy fat,写在黑板上(方便讲完语法让学生进行练习)。 2)(导入就用本班同学,本课的重点语言结构是形容词比较级和最高级,可通过真实情景导入。) 导入语言:同学们,老师今天在咱们班发现一个问题,(显得惊讶一些)引导学生的好奇心。(然后老师把现象呈现给大家,就是找三个人,高、中、矮,明显的学生到前面来。让学生发现其现象,老师陈述新句型。)linda is
15、 tall. bill is taller than linda. mary is the tallest of the three.(把这三句话写在黑板上,让学生根据讲台前的三个人猜出并说出汉语意继而给出公式a is -er than b. the -est of/in . ) c is 3)然后看一下三个句子,并说一下than是连词,引起比较状语从句,因此从 语法角度出发,后面的代词要用主格(即i, he等), 但习惯上却常用宾格(即me, him等)。 4)提醒学生注意,英语中表示“比较”要在形容词词尾加-er,表示 “最”要在形容词词尾加-est。然后教师在黑板上写出short nic
16、e heavy和fat四个单词后加er、est,学生根据之前的知识积累不难找出规律。然后教师在黑板上写出cold, large, big和heavy等四个单词让学生通过之前找出的规律在词尾加-er和-est(可进行笔头练习) cold large big colder larger bigger coldest 直接加-er和-est largest 去e后加-er和-est biggest 双写词尾辅音字母后加-er和-est heaviest y变为i再加-er和-est heavy heavier 5)如果学生对上述规则变化掌握较好,可扩展特殊的。clever和good/well的比较级
17、和最高级形式,并说明双音节单词的比较级和最高级要在后面加-er和-est,但以er和辅音加y结尾的词仍加-er和-est,如cleverer和heavier。另外说明good和well的比较级和最高级是better和best,属于不规则变化,除了good和well还有几个词的变化是不规则的,这些将在以后能学到。 3. drills 1) words:tallshortniceheavyfat 快速抢答,做动作,在此时教师把chant 教给学生。 步骤:1、教师示范 2、逐句教 3、加上动作 2)sentence:linda is tall. linda is taller than bill.
18、 mary is the tallest of the three. 计时赛:以组为单位,快速朗读三遍,看哪组的时间用的短。就人名进行替换,造句。(教师可用简笔画来帮助教学,例如画三个小人,其三个名字)再画三个球,大小明显,让学生进行替换。 3)操练形容词词尾加-er和-est:教师在附板书中写一些形容词让学生起来 说出它们的比较级和最高级形式。(根据学生的程度,可扩展特殊的,clever和good/well的比较级和最高级形式,并说明双音节单词的比较级和最高级要在后面加-er和-est,但以er和辅音加y结尾的词仍加-er和-est,如cleverer和heavier。另外说明good和well的比较级和最高级是better和best,属于不规则变化,除了good和well还有几个词的变化是不规则的,这些将在以后能学到。) 4)用图片和实物操练两个基本句型:准备一些图片,出示其中的一张,上 面画三个男孩,一个比一个胖,
