5、xtinguishing system for protecting helideck on BZ34-1-WHPF living quarters. Foam extinguishing system should include Foam Monitor and Foam Bladder Vessel.2.0ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONAmbient Temperature: Maximum: 34.6 Deg C Minimum: -17.2 Deg CSeawater Temperature: Maximum: 28.5 Deg C Minimum: -1.2Deg C

11、he most stringent requirement shall be adopted. If conflict exists between specified codes, rules, or regulations it shall be written to the Client for resolution.4.0SYSTEM DESCRIPTION4.1GENERALThe purpose of this specification is to establish a minimum level of acceptable quality. Alternate standar
12、d designs of equal or superior quality may be proposed, provided all exception are approved in writing.Foam extinguishing package shall be supplied with the certificate from CCS, DNV, ABS, BV, Lloyds or equivalent.Foam extinguishing package shall be designed in accordance with NFPA 11 for marine ser
13、vice. All components shall be designed and installed in accordance with limits and guideline of applicable codes and standards and as recommended by the component manufacture, except for the more stringent requirements of this specification, the datasheet and the marine service environment.The helid
14、eck foam system shall be designed at least for a 10 minutes application.The capacity of the foam system shall be at minimum of 6.0L/min.m2 of the helideck.4.2TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT FOR FOAM EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM SKIDThe foam agent fire extinguishing system should be engineered and designed for fully f
15、looding the helideck areas on fire protection drawings, and shall be designed for seawater supply pressure of 800kPaA 1150 kPaA. The design shall be suitable for seawater intake temperature of-1.2 to 34.6.Aluminum material shall not be used.The system shall be manually actuated. Manual controls shal
16、l be capable of on/off operation and of stopping the supply of foam concentration before the foam concentration inventory is exhausted.4.3FOAM BLADDER VESSEL Material of vessel is 16MnR (interior surface coating). Material of bladder is Nylon reinforced buna-N (coated both sides).SPECIFICATION FOR F

Foam bladder vessel shall have a fil
18、ling port, low point drain and vent. These fitting shall be readily accessible.Foam bladder vessel shall have ANSI 150# FF flanges for inlet and outlet piping conncetion.Foam bladder vessel shall be provided with a level gauge and safety relief vavle. Foam bladder vessel shall be painted in red colo
19、r4.4FOAM PROPORTIONERFoam proportioner connections shall be permanent with rigid pipe and fittings Foam proportioner shall be the variable type providing a minimum foam concentration/ seawater mixture of 3% by volumeFoam proportioner shall be capable of manually isolating the supply of foam so that
20、if desired, only seawater will flow to the area being protected. This shall also provide a means of flushing the lines after use.4.5FOAM/WATER MONITOR Monitor shall be manufactured from the corrosion-proof material for seawater supplyMonitor shall be equipped with a nozzle capable of delivering at l
21、east 115 m3/h at 700kPaG and adjustable for delivering straight jet/fog pattern Waterproof covers shall be supplied for each monitor.4.6FOAM CONCENTRATION Foam concentration shall be synthetic low-expansion standard AFFF.The type approval certificate shall be provided for foam concentration.Foam con
22、centration shall be capable of holding water. Foam solution shall be flow freely in order to cover quickly the area being protected. Foam solution shall form a vapour-tight blanket cover the protected area and resist-disruption by the windFoam concentration shall not deteriorate in the storage vessel over a long storage period.Foam concentration shall not deteriorate from being stored under pressure of because of the storage vessel direct sunlight overexposure.5.0TESTING AND INSPECTIONEach of equipments should be inspected before shipment to ins
