Welcome the questionListen carefully to the question-dont interruptTake time to think before you answerCheck you have understood the question-rephrase or clarify if necessaryReply positively-be brief and clearAccept criticism positivelyAfter your answer, check that the questioner is satisfied如果遇到了以下的情形,看看如何来Handling it 1. Instead of asking a question, the person strongly, rather angrily, disagrees with your point of view. 如果这人还是不依不扰,you can say, “Well, well have to agree to disagree on this point,” or “ Unfortunately, theres no time to go into this more deeply right now.”2. Instead of asking a question, the person states his or her own viewpoints that agree with yours. You can say, “ Yes, that fits in exactly with what I was saying”.3. The person states positively that some information you have given is inaccurate, but you are absolutely sure that you are correct.这里,你可以提供你的information source or provide additional support for your statement.OR YOU CAN SAY, “ I believe that my information is correct, but I will certainly recheck my facts.”4. 如果有人直接提出你的一些informationis inaccurate, 而你又不能自己的information was correct or not.Do not feel threatened or regard this as an attack. YOU CAN SAY, “ I appreciate your bringing this to my attention. Ill have to recheck my sources to see what is correct.”5. 如果有人问的问题 is so basic, 你发现他 did not understand any of your presentation. YOU CAN SAY, “ Well, I dont think we have time to discuss that point right now, but Ill be happy to talk with you about it later.”6. The person asks a question that will require a very long, complicated, or technical answer. YOU CAN SAY, “Thats an interesting question, but it would take much too long to answer it adequately. Perhaps we can discuss it later.”7. YOU CAN SAY, “Thats an interesting question, but my presentation doesnt really deal with that issue,” or “ Im afraid I dont see how that question applies to what Ive said.”8. YOU CAN SAY, “Im very pleased by your interest, but perhaps we should give others a chance to ask a few questions. I hope we can talk in more detail later.” Answering QuestionsDelaying Answering/ Playing for TimeWell, let me seeActually,Let me think for a moment. Ah, yes, Im glad you asked that question.Youve raised an important point here.Avoiding AnsweringThats a good question but, unfortunately, its beyond the scope of this presentation. Later, I could perhaps point you in the direction of some useful websites that might help you.Im afraid Im not really in a position to answer that.Im afraid I dont have the figures on me. Perhaps I could E.mail them to you later.
