Is your birthday in February,too?No,my birthday is in2. 能够使用句型:“How many birthdays are there in January?There are”并进行生日情况的调查并填写调查表。3. 能够听懂、会唱歌曲“When Is Your Birthday?”。4. 了解中西方主要节日所在月份及父母、同伴的生日。教学重点:强化第一课时的句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in并听、说、认读新句型:Is your birthday in , too?教学难点:引导学生根据实际情况使用多样化的表达方式获得某人生日的有关情况。教学准备:录音机、P26Chant的录音带和本课的录音带、月份大转盘、生日调查表。教学过程:Step1. Preparation1. 全班吟唱第26页的歌谣边说边做动作。2. Lets say: “Which month is this?”教师出示标有12个月份的大转盘,在转动指针前提问:Which month is it?让学生猜测,如:“Its January/February.”。3. 师生对话T:Hello,A. When is your birthday?SA:Its in January.T:What about you, B? When is your birthday?SB: Its in 如此多提问几名学生。然后学生竖排开火车问答。Step2. Presentation1. 情景导入:呈现 Is your birthday in January, too ?T:Hello,A. When is your birthday?SA:Its in January.T:What about you, B? Is your birthday in January, too?SB: No,its in March.等。教师重复Is your birthday in January, too? 并将其板书,确保学生明确其含义。2. 机械操练。教师出示A Lets learn的教学挂图与学生进行问答,如:When is Wu Yifans birthday? Its in January.Is Sarahs birthday in January, too? No.When is Sarahs birthday? Its in March.等。3. 意义操练。学生四人一组,各人在一张纸上写出自己的生日月份,由组长牢记。另外小组的组长询问该组组长:S1: A, when is your birthday,A?A:My birthday is in .S1: What about B? Lets listen and find out.教师放Lets talk部分的录音,学生合上课本,听两遍后回答以上问题。音。2. 听音正音。学生看对话跟读该对话。3. 合作共建。学生小组合作,分角色读对话。4. 表演展示。学生首先分角色朗读两组,然后将自己和同伴的实际姓名和生日替换对话中的相应部分。教师请几组学生表演他们的对话。Step4. Production1. “我是小记者”活动,教师组织学生“采访”其他同学的生日月份,计入调查表。最后邀请部分“小记者”做“现场报道”,如“There are three birthdays in May.”等。2. Lets find out.几位“小记者”做“现场报道”后,教师问全体学生:Now how many birthdays are there in October?学生举手说:Me! 教师板书October,数一下人数说:Oh, youre so lucky. Chinas birthday is in October, too. 教师出示国庆节图片。教师板书Chinas birthday 并说:Chinas birthday ,We call it “National Day”.将准备好的 National Day卡片贴在板书Chinas birthday上面,学生跟读National Day,然后师生、生生问答:When is National Day?Its in October.完成Match, ask and answer. 师生共同核对答案。教师可以扩展,如:Halloween,Teachers Day等。Step5. Preparation1. 播放三年级下册第三单元的歌曲“Father and Mother ”。学生听唱。2. Free talk. 师生之间自由对话。可参考如下语言:T: How many people are there in your family ? S:Four / Five. T:Whos that man ?S:Hes my father.T:When is your fathers birthday ?S:Its in Jun.T:Whos that boy ?S:Oh, its me.T:When is your birthday ?S:Its in July.Step2. Pre-reading1. 教授家庭成员的单词。教师出示John的图片,说:Look , this is John. 出示家庭成员的单词卡片,说:Look , there are seven people in his family . Please come and meet his family .师生问答:T: Whos he / she?S: He / She is Johns father / mother / uncle.然后教师单独指向uncle的单词卡片,说: Hes Johns uncle .His name is Bill. So we can call him Uncle Bill.教师板书,教读,提醒学生注意Uncle Bill的表达方式与中文有何不同,以及在书写时要注意大写)。以此方法教学:Aunt Mary, Cousin Alice. 2. 教学a birthday chart of our family.教师把黑板上的单词卡片集中在一起,戴上John的头饰,说:This is our family. Do you want to know the birthday of my family? You can ask me. 让学生通过提问获取需要的信息,教师边回答边在黑板上的卡片下面写上月份。当学生完成所有问答后,教师整理黑板上的内容,划上格子,形成表格,说:This is our birthday chart. 重复几遍,教读,板书。Step3. In-reading1. General reading 出示阅读问题,让学生略读短文,完成判读题。( ) Johns birthday is in May. ( ) Johns mothers birthday is in May. ( ) Cousin Alices birthday is in June. 学生带着问题快速阅读文章,做题。师生核对答案。2Detailed reading. 教师出示下列问题:1) How many people are there in Johns family?2) Whose birthday is in June?3) Whose birthday is in May?学生带着问题,仔细阅读课文。教师指导学生在原文相关信息处勾画。核对答案。学生同时读出课文原文。3. Read and write. 学生先读懂文后的练习1和练习2。小组合作再次阅读,同时完成这两个练习。对于练习2,教师要让学生同桌进行检查,注意用词和标点准确无误。4. Listen to the tape. 教师播放录音,学生跟读。5. Read aloud. 学生先小组齐声朗读,然后个人大声朗读,培养语感。教师巡阅。6. 教师问:Any problems? 解答学生提出的有关疑难问题。同时,解释一下文中:I am making a birthday chart for my family. 的含义。Step4. Post-reading.Make a family birthday chart of your own. 学生取出各自的空白生日记录表格,教师在黑板上先作示范:There are 5 people in my family. My fathers birthday is in March.
