Unit1 May I Speak to Kitty 【内容来源】陕旅教育出版社六年级下册 Unit1【单元总目标】当今时代,人们获得信息的方式已经多元化。而电脑、手机更是人们相互联系、获取信息最快捷的方式之一。本单元首先让学生根据各自的生活经验来观察、认识移动电话在生活中的作用,从而引入怎样用英语打电话,即电话用语教学,以及怎样合理使用手机的话题。单元教学的重点是电话用语,而难点在于怎样在话题讨论中锻炼学生的语用能力及与人沟通的能力。通过学习,使学生能在打电话情景中学会使用电话用语与人进行交流。比如,May I speak to .? Whos that? This is . speaking.等。语用练习中,需要掌握几个动词短语:make a phone call, go on the Internet, send a message, read an e-book, send an e-mail。本单元的教学可分为4个课时。第一课时以Part A中Lets learn部分的词汇教学为主;第二课时主要学习Part A中Lets talk部分的对话,理解并会说电话用语,并借助Part B Lets play部分进行语用练习;第三课时以Part B中Lets learn more部分为主,进一步学习拓展本单元功能语言;第四课时则是处理本单元Part B的Read and discuss部分,以及Part C的听力与其他练习。【单元具体目标】知识目标一、能听、说、读、写以下词汇:mobile phone, make a phone call, go on the Internet, send a message, read an e-book, send an e-mail。二、能听懂、会说、会读、会用下列句型:1. Hello, may I speak to ?Sorry, is out. This is . speaking. Can I take a message?Sure.2. Hello! Is that . ?Yes. This is . speaking. Who is that?3. I wont use it to go on the Internet or read e-books.Ill only use it to make phone calls and learn English.情感目标一、引导学生认识移动电话在生活中的作用,并愤得如何合理使用手机。二、培养学生善于交流、善于思考的意识和能力,并引导其树立健康、乐观、积极的生活态度三、培养学生树立正确的学习态度,以及能律己、明辨是非的基本能力。Unit1 May I Speak to Kitty 第1课时教学设计【内容来源】陕旅教育出版社六年级下册 Unit1【主 题】Warming-up: Think and number, Lets learn【课 时】第1课时一、教学目标1. 能听、说、读、写词汇:mobile phone, make a phone call, go on the Internet, send a message, read an e-book, send an e-mail。2. 能灵活运用上述词汇。二、教学准备1. 教师准备Lets learn部分的词汇教学卡片以及P5“读写活动”的课件或卡片。2. 教师准备Lets learn部分的教学音频。3. 教师准备电脑、收音机、电视、手机等图片或实物。三、教学方法建议课程导入(Leading In)(1)课前问答新学期开始,师生互致问候,以下问候用语可供教师参考:T: Nice to see you again at the beginning of this term. Did you have a good time during the winter holidays? Did you play with your friends? Did you call each other during the holidays?(2)新课导入 Part A Warming-up: Think and number师生互致问候之后,教师展示出电脑、收音机、电视、手机等图片,借助Part A Warming-up部分的Think and number活动导入新课。T: Here, I have some pictures. They are very useful in our daily life. Do you know what they are?师生一起用英语说出这些物品,之后让学生思考讨论。让他们按这些物品在我们日常生活中的重要程度依次排序并说音说为什么。T: Which one do you think is the most useful? You can number them from 1 to 5.教师选出几位学生说元说各自的选择结果。当某一学生说到手机时,可顺势引入本节课的新词汇。课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(presentation)(1)新课展示Part A Lets learn1. 教授词组mobile phone教师承接上一环节,出示手机的图片或实物,与学生进行交流:T: Look! We talked about this useful thing in our life just now. Do you know what it is in English? It is a mobile phone. Please follow me. Mobile phone. (重复几遍)教学小贴士教师注意mobile的读音,要向学生示范到位。尤其是-ile的发音。可以举出其他学过的词,如:smile, mile。并试读file, while的发音。2. 教授短语make a phone call教师出示教学卡片,向学生介绍:T: You can use the phone to call your friends, or call your parents. This is an important function of phone or mobile phone. Look at this picture. Read it after me. Make a phone call.(重复几遍) You can also say“make a phone call to sb.”引导学生说:Make a phone call to your friend.Make a phone call to my mother.3. 教授短语send a message教师出示教学卡片,向学生介绍:T: Sometimes you need to tell somebody something. But you dont want to make a phone call. You can send a message to him with your mobile phone. That is another function of mobile phone: send a message. Read it after me.(重复几遍)4. 教授短语read an e-book教师出示教学卡片,向学生介绍:T: Sometimes you can read books on the Internet with mobile phone. You can say“read e-books”or“read an e-book” Read it after me. Who is that?3. 能熟练地说唱Lets chant部分的歌谣。二、教学准备1. 教师准备本单元的词汇教学卡片。2. 教师准备Lets talk部分的教学挂图。3. 教师准备Lets talk和Lets chant部分教学音频。4. 教师准备电脑、手机等实物。5. 教师准备一些写有表示日常活动的动词短语的纸条,如:plant trees, see a film, go shopping 等。三、教学方法建议课程导入(Leading In)(1)课前问答T: Hello, everyone! Now, listen to a dialogue。课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(presentation)(1)新课展示Part A: Lets talk1. 教师提出问题,并播放Lets talk部分对话录音的前半部分,让学生带着问题感知对话内容:What are they doing?Who are speaking?为了让学生更直观地了解对话,教师可在播放录音之前先用手机播放一段铃声。这样,电话铃声一响,学生们就可以明白这是一段电话录音。听完一遍录音后,教师可选出几名学生试着回答上面的两个问题,看学生是否弄清楚了打电话双方分别是Liu Zhaoyang和Cathy。并能答出:They are making a phone call.或They are talking on the phone.2. 教师再次播放此段录音,帮助学生理解对话内容。(1) 理解电话用语May I speak to .? & This is .T: When you want to speak to someone on the phone, you can ask, “MayI speak to .? ”When you answer a phone in English, you must say “This is .”You cannot say “I am .” on the phone.(教师做出打电话的样子) For example, “Hello! This is Mr. Zhao. May I speak to Kevin?”板书句型:May I speak to . ?This is .让学生两人一组练习接通电活的用语:A: Hello, this is A. May I speak to B?B: Hello, this is B.(2) 理解电话用语Sorry, B is out. Can I take a message? Could you please ask . to call me?T: When someone isnt here near the phone. You can answer the call like this, “Sorry, he / she is out. Can I take a message?”When you want him / her to call you later, you can say, “Could you please ask him / her to call me?”教学小贴士Could you please . ?用来表示“请求别人做某事”。可以理解为“请你好吗?” 语气比较委婉。对方听起来会显得更加客气,含有尊敬的意味。再让学生两人一组练一练这样打电话的情景:A: Hello, this is A. May I speak to B?C: Sorry, B is out. This is C. Can I take a message?A: Could you please ask B to call me?C: OK.(3)板书句子:Ill tell her when she comes back.她回来时我告诉她。sb. will do sth. when .这样的句子用来表达“在某时某人会做某事”。该句型只要学生理解、会用就行,不必介绍太深的语法。这是一个复合句,when引导的是时间状语从句,如:Ill do some housework when I go home.The teacher will help us when we have difficulties.3. 教师播放Lets talk部分对话及录音的后半部分。(1)让学生听录音,那解电话用语Is that. ? & Who is that?T: On the phone, if you want to know who is speaking to you, you can ask Is that .? or“Who is that? ”. You cant say“Are you . ? ” or “Who are you? ” For example, “Hello! Who is that? Is that . (speaking)?”教师做出打电话的样子,提到班里谁的名字时就让该生作出一定反应。如:Yes, this is . (speaking)或No, this is .板书句型:Is that.?/ Who is that?教学小贴士英语的电话用语同中文的有很大的不同,如:May I speak to .? 相当于中文的:请找一下X X X。或我找X X X。而我是X X X。用英文表达则是This is.。另外,当需要询问对方是谁时,要这样问:Who is that?/ Is that .? 回答则是:This is ./ Yes / No, this is .让学生两人一组试若练一练:A: Hello, this is A. May I speak to B?B: This is B (speaking). Who is that? / Is that.?A: This is . / Yes. This is . (speaking).(2) 教师再次播放该部分录音,帮助学生理解对话内容,弄清楚对话大概提到了什么事情。如:可以检查学生听完一遍有没有抓住went shopping, bought me a mobile phone, play games on it等谈话信息。进行此环节时,教师可提问并让学生试着回答问题:who went shopping this morning? Who had a mobile phone? What will Kitty use it to do?教学小贴士对比两个结构:buy sb. sth. / buy sth. to sb.教师可以告诉学生:这两个结构的意思是相同的,只是表达的方式或说法不同而已。类似的表达还有我们以前学习过的give sb. sth. / give sth. to sb.以及pass sb. sth. / pass sth. to sb.(2)巩固活动1. 教师播放Lets talk部分的完整录音,让学生各自小声跟读并勾画出打电话时的基本用语。2. 小组活动,分角色进行对话朗读练习。3. 小组展示。学生分角色朗读、展示对话,其他学生进行评价。教师给予必要的语音、语调、语气等方面的指导,以鼓励表扬为主。操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities)(1)Part B Lets playPair work:模仿Alice和Colin电话里的对话,进行创编对话练习。1. 教师快速展示所准备的写有一些表示日常活动的动词短语的纸条,通过师生问答,尽量多地复习一些动词短语。T: Hi, A! What will you do tomorrow?A: Ill plant trees.T: What about you, B?B: Ill see a film.2. 复习之后,让学生两两一组,选择不同的动词短语创编一段通过电话进行的会话3. 学生自主练习后,请几组学生进行展示表演。4. 教师注意引导全班学生参予并及时评价。如在看完A和B的电话会话之后,与全班学生问答:T: What will Ado tomorrow?Ss: He / She will.T: What about B?Ss: He/She will .(2)Part B Lets chant1. 让学生听录音,感知整个内容情景,感知节奏。2. 让学生分两部分听录音,进一步了解内容。教师可提问:Who are talking on the phone?What does Bob ask John to do?Who are talking on the phone now?What does Tina ask Sue to do?3. 引领学生看课本,并听录音中的读词部分,让学生试读歌谣。4. 再听录音,让学生跟随节奏读歌谣。【板书设计】Unit1 May I Speak to Kitty 第3课时教学设计【内容来源】陕旅教育出版社六年级下册 Unit1【主 题】Warming-up: Look and choose, Lets learn more, Think and talk【课 时】第3课时一、教学目标1. 能听懂并现解Lets learn more部分的对话内容。能认读课文对话,并较为流利地模仿演读对话内容。2. 能在教师的组织下,通过话题讨论,锻炼语用思维,能较为清楚地描述自己的想法。3. 能律己,并合理使用手机。二、教学准备1. 教师准备Lets learn more部分的教学视频。2. 教师准备Lets learn more部分的教学挂图。3. 教师准备Lets learn more部分的教学音频。三、教学方法建议课程导入(Leading In)(1)课前热身T: Good morning, boys and girls. Do you want a mobile phone?Ss: Yes No.T: We know that Kitty bought a mobile phone. What will she do on it?Ss: She will use it to make phone calls and send messages.(2)新课导入Part A Warming-up: Look and choose教师引导学生起来讨论手机在生活中都有哪些作用或功能,帮助学生说出这作功能:watch news, play games, listen to music, take photos, read e-books, call your friends, .T: This is my mobile phone. Look, I can use it to watch news, play games, listen to music, take photos, read e-books, call your friends, etc. What do you often do with your mobile phone?教师可以结合本部分的图片一一提问学生,帮助学生逐一说出相应的短语,并将图文配对。参名答案:f, a, b, e, c, d教师带领学生一起读这些词汇。之后,可让学生各自选自相应的短语说一说:I want a mobile phone. I will use it to .T: Liu Zhaoyang hopes to have a mobile phone, too. Today, he asks his mother for a mobile phone. Will his mother buy one for him?课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(presentation)(1)新课展示Part B Lets learn more1. 教师提出问题,然后播放Lets learn more部分的视频,让学生带着问题观看:(1) Are mobile phones very useful?(2) Does Lius mom want to buy him a mobile phone? Why?(3) What does Liu want to use the mobile phone to do?2. 教师再次播放视频对话,让学生在小组内讨论,试着找出以上问题的答案。教师提示学生结合课文内容找一找,并用笔做出标记。3. 教师选出几名学生回答上述问题,检验学生对对话内容的理解情况并及时给予积极评价。4. 帮助学生理解、学习运用课文中的功能句。(1) 1 will use it to .和I wont use it to .上述句型中使用了use sth. to do . 的用法来表示“用某物做某事”的概念,我们可以说:use a pen to write, use a cup to drink, .教师可多举例句,进行示范应用,更方便学生理解,如:I will use my dictionary to look up the new word.He wont use a mobile phone to play games.教师启发学生思考,练习使用这个结构来造句。(2) Im afraid .此句型在上册书中已接触过。它是有种委婉的表达方式,用来表示对对方所提出的要求进行拒绝,或对对方进行要求或建议。如:Im afraid I cant help you this time.(3) It takes .本句型中的take表示“花费”,此句型常表示“某事要花多长时间或金钱”,如:The work will take two hours.It took me fifteen yuan to buy the book.但这个句型通常会用到形式主语代替不定式的现象,可视学生掌握情况做讲解,学生能理解即可。(4) Its bad / good for .本句型用来表达“某事对某人/某物有坏/好处”。如:Dont read in the sun. Its bad for your eyes.Do some exercise every day. Ifs good for our health.让学生模仿造句。(2)巩固活动1. 教师播放Lets learn more部分的录音,让学生听录音,跟读对话。然后小组内开展角色演读、其间,教师可向学生们强调,读对话时要尽量找一找“说话”的感觉。这样的“有意”练习,有助于培养学生良好的语音语调:从“读”英语上升为“说”英语。2. And answer the following questions.(1) Who is he making a phone call?(2) What does he say?教师播放本部分的录音,让学生带着刚才的问题,认真听对话,了解到底是谁在打电话,他说了什么。通过听第一遍,学生可能了解到一些片段信息,但还不能完整把握所有信息。2. 打开课本,翻到P6 Part B Read and discuss,引导学生进行阅读,教师可以通过对话来了解学生阅读后的理解情况:T: Is it a fine day?Ss: Yes.T: Does Tommy go to school?Ss: No.T: Where is he?Ss: In the park.T: Is he making a phone call?Ss: Yes.3. 阅读小故时学会进一步明了Tommy是在给谁打电话,并且还在电话里说了谎然。然而,Tommy在电话中漏了马脚。也许会带来一些笑声。接下来,引导学生思考:What do you think of Tommy? What should he do?此处,要让学生通过讨论明白Tommy的做法是错误的,教育学生应该端正自己的学习态度,明辨是非,养成良好的学习习惯。(2)Part C Listen and circle1. 教师先让学生把听力练习所介内荞浏览要遍,并通过问题帮助学生熟悉图片内容,了解要求听出的信息,比如:Who are they?What will Liu Zhaoyang do tomorrow?Look at Kevins mobile phone.
