1、1.必修二Unit1 IN SEARCH OF THE AMBER ROOM寻找琥珀屋Frederick William ,the King of Prussia , could never have imagined that his greatest gift to the Russian people would have such an amazing history . 普鲁士国王腓特烈·威廉一世绝不可能想到他送给俄罗斯人民的厚礼会有这样一段令人惊讶的历史。 This gift was the Amber Room , which was given this name b

31、that she would not marry anyone who could not run faster than her. 她因此非常生气,就跟她的父亲说,她不会嫁给任何跑不过她的男人的。 Her father said that she must marry, so Atlanta made a bargain with him. 她的父亲说她必须结婚,于是亚特兰大就和她的父亲达成了一个协议。She said to him,"These are my rules. When a man says he wants to marry me, I will run again
