Wallafterayearandahalfofcycling30milesadaywas"reallyexciting".At

theendoftheirjourney,thespecialpairdidn'tflyhomebutinsteadchoseto

bookacabininsidea400m-longcontainership.Thefinalpartwasa

three-weekvoyagefromSingaporeacrosstheIndianOceanandintothe

MediterraneanSeabeforearrivingatSouthampton.

"Youneverknowwhatthedayisgoingtobring.Allyouknowisthatyou

aregoingtogetonyourbikeandcycle.Everydayisanadventureandevery

dayisnew.Overall,theexperienceisabsolutelyunbelievable,"Petersaid.

PeterandChrisinitiallysetouttocyclefromBritaininJanuary2017but

wereforcedhome.TheyhadcycledallthewaytoHungarywhenPeterslipped

ontilesandbrokehisleg.Afterseveralmonthsofrecovery,thecouplesetout

againinBritain.TheyfinallyarrivedinChinainNovember2018.

BothPeterandChrisagreedthatthebestpartoftheentiretripwas

comingacrossthekindnessofstrangersalongtheway,manyofwhom

invitedthecoupleforfoodanddrink.Chris,64,said,l'ltwasawonderful
