龟兔赛跑 故事新编 Date1 Once upon a time a tortoise and a hare had an argument about who was faster. They decided to settle the argument with a race. They agreed on a route and started off the race. 从前,有一只乌龟和一只兔子在互相争辩 谁跑得快。他们决定来一场比赛分高下, 选定了路线,就此起跑。 Date2 The hare shot ahead and ran briskly for some time. Then seeing that he was far ahead of the tortoise, he thought hed sit under a tree for some time and relax before continuing the race. 兔子带头冲出,奔跑了一阵子,眼看已遥 遥领先于乌龟,心想,可以在树下坐一会 儿,放松一下,然后再继续比赛。 Date3 He sat under the tree and soon fell asleep. The tortoise plodding on overtook him and soon finished the race, emerging as the undisputed champ. 兔子很快就在树下睡着了,而一路上笨手 笨脚走来的乌龟却超过了他,不一会儿到 达终点,成了冠军。 Date4 The hare woke up and realized that hed lost the race.
