Unit 12 My favorite subject is science一、教学目标1. 知识目标a. 学习、理解、掌握和运用下列单词:有关学科:subject, math, science, history, P.E, biology有关星期:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.相关的形容词:fun, interesting, boring, difficult, relaxing.其它单词:because, teacher, Mr., Mrs., example, city, mom, dad, busy, strict, tired.b. 学习、理解、掌握和运用下列表达法:1) 学科表达法2) 一周星期天至星期六的表达方式3) 时间的表达法c. 学习、理解、掌握和运用下列句型:Whats your/his/her favorite subject?My/His/Her favorite subject is science. I have math on Monday and Wednesday.d. 掌握人称代词和物主代词的区别及用法。e. 理解和掌握一般现在时第三人称和其他人称的区别。2. 能力目标a.使学生学会用英语熟练地讨论自己喜爱的学科并给出理由。b.使学生学会讨论自己喜爱的其他东西并给出理由。c.使学生能讨论自己一天的活动安排和学习安排。3. 情感,态度,价值观目标a.通过学习使学生懂得各学科要均衡发展,调整偏科的倾向,各科要齐头并进。b.通过学习要培养学生关心父母、关心朋友,关心身边的每个人。c.通过学习可以使学生更加热爱生活,立志为祖国认真学好每一门功课。二、教学重点和难点重点:1、掌握学科及其特点的单词。2、 谈论自己最喜欢的学科及喜欢的原因。3、 一周七天的表达法。难点:1、表达学科特点的形容词的意义和读音。 2、人称代词和物主代词的正确运用。3、如何用所学句型进行综合运用。三、教学策略及原则1. 运用任务型语言教学模式,训练培养学生对语言的综合运用,实现目标,感受成功,教学进度整体把握,教学形式不拘一格。2. 课堂以学生为主体,以任务为主线,重视体验参与,教师起到“设计者、研究者、促进者、协调者”的作用。3. 在教学中,突出交际性,注重读写的实用性,要进行情感和策略调整,以形成积极的学习态度,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。4. 课后访谈调查,读写摘记,重视语言运用。5. 正视个体差异,倡导过程激励,以多层次、多角度、多主体的结果与过程并重的评价方式激励进步。四、学习策略自主学习 合作学习 探究学习注重学生学习成为一种自觉行为的学习观,把学习的主动权真正还给学生。同桌之间、搭档之间、小组之间相互交谈,相互讨论,相互切磋,实现生生互动,在探究式的合作学习中,学生会获得平等的交谈权利,他们相互交谈、相互尊重,即充满了温情和友爱,又体现互动与竞争充分提高了学生的英语交际能力。五、课时安排4课时教学总体设计TopicMy favorite subject is science.Talk about preferences; Give reasons.Structure What is your favorite subject?
