我们在这里,召开私营企业家联谊会,借此机会,我代表成都市渝中工商局、渝中区私营企业协会,祝各位领导新年快乐、工作愉快、身体健康,祝各位企业家事业兴旺Unit 14 I remember meeting all of you in Grade 7第三课时Section A(Grammar Focus4b)【学习目标】1掌握重点单词和短语:senior,text,level,look forward to doing sth.,join the school swim team,have problem with sth.,How fast time goes by等。2学习和掌握句型:(1)My time in junior high school has been enjoyable.(2)I had problems with pronunciation and reading texts.(3)I cant believe how fast the time went by! 3通过语言学习和小组合作,进一步复习时态。【学习重点】通过语言学习和小组合作,进一步复习时态。【学习难点】学会用所学过的知识来描述难忘的人和事件。通过课前的一个师生问答互动导入新课话题,同时锻炼了学生的口语表达能力。Task 1Review the words on P108,read the words by phonetic symbols.Then draw new words in line and mark Chinese meaning.【学法指导】have problems with sth.在某方面有困难have problems doing sth.join 动词 表示加入某一团体或组织。如:Join the school swim team,join the English club,join the League;等等。【拓展】join sb.in doing 加入到某人干某事的活动中来。Task 21Students read and translate the sentences in Grammar Focus,underline predicate verbs with passive voice,present perfect,present progressive and Modal verbs.情景导入生成问题Teacher:Whats your plan for your senior high school ?Students:I will _take up a new hobby.study harder.make some new friends.自学互研生成能力Task 1Lets read the new words and phrases.1I can read.(我会读)预习下列单词和短语,争取自己能正确拼读。拼读成功后再在课文中把单词和短语标记出来。senior,text,level,look forward to doing sth.join the school swim team,have problem with sth.,How fast time goes by2I can write.(我会写)翻译下列短语:(1)期望做某事look_forward_to_doing_sth.(2)加入学校游泳队join_the_school_swim_team(3)在某方面遇到困难have_problems_with_sth.(4)光阴似箭How_fast_time_goes_byTask 2Lets make conversations and interview.1I can practice.(我会练)(1)根据所给的汉语提示完成下列的英语句子。我过去常常上舞蹈课,可是现在不再上了。 I used to take_dance_lessons,but I dont take it anymore.我期待着将来上高中。I_am_looking_forward_to going to senior high school.我七年级在发音和阅读方面有困难。I had_problems_with pronunciation and reading texts in Grade Seven.我不敢相信时间过得这样快!I cant believe how_fast_the_time_went_by自你开始读初中以来,你有怎样的变化?How have you changed since you started junior high school?(2)然后接下来完成教材P108 页4a 和4b 的练习。2I can summarize.(我会总结)no matter常与疑问代词或疑问副词一起构成连词词组,引导让步状语从句,意为“不管,无论”,在运用时应注意以下几点:(1)注意从句的时态由no_matter_what/who/where/when引导的从句往往用一般现在时或一般过去时。如:No matter who you are,you must obey the rules.无论你是谁,都应该遵守规则。(2)注意被修饰的名词、形容词以及副词的位置no matter what/whose/which修饰名词时,该名词必须紧跟其后;no matter how修饰形容词或副词时,该形容词或副词也必须紧跟其后。 如:No matter how hard he works,he finds it difficult to make ends meet.无论他多么努力工作,却总是入不敷出。2.Teacher guides students finishing practices in 4a and 4b and check the answers.3Students sum up the usage of Passive voice,Present perfect,present progressive.【学法指导】Translate the sentences.1在七年级发生了什么特别的事?What happened in Grade 7 that was special?我们队赢得了学校篮球赛。Our team won the school basketball competition2自你开始读初中以来,你有怎样的变化?How have you changed since you started junior high school?我更擅长说英语了。Ive become much better at speaking English3你认为高中会有什么不同?How do you think things will be different in senior high school?4我认为我会更加努力为考试做准备。I think that Ill have to study much harder for exams.【备注】(3)注意“no_matter疑问词”结构与“疑问词ever”在用法上的区别“no matter疑问词”结构只能引导让步状语从句,这时可以和“疑问词ever”互换。 如:No_matter_where_he_may_be_(Wherever he may be),he will be happy.他无论在什么地方都快乐。而“疑问词ever”还可以引导名词性从句。 如:Give this book to whoever likes it.谁喜欢这本书就给谁吧。(这里不能用no matter who)whoever既可引导名词性从句,又能在从句中作主语、宾语、表语等;whomever也可引导名词性从句,但只能在从句中作宾语。如:You may invite whomever you like.交流展示生成新知Preshow:Show in groups.(Time:six minutes)Task 1:1.First,the students read the words and phrases in groups.Then,read together and sum up the usage of the words in groups.Next,mark the difficult words in pronunciation and understanding.(they can ask the teacher for help)2Read the contents on P108 quickly,find out the phrases in“I can write” in Task 1 and write them down,then discuss together in groups.Task 2:1.First,the students discuss and check the answers in Task 2.Then discuss,make dialogues and set scenes to perform the dialogues.Next,students read the passage again in a rapid way and finish 4a,4b,finally check the answers in small groups.2Ask students to try to summarize the grammar about the usage of “no matter” by learning by themselves in groups.Improve by showing: Class show.(Time:sixteen minutes)Task 1:1.I can read.(1)Read together,pay attention to the pronunciation of “senior”and “level”;(2)Sum up and explain the usage of “look forward to”2I can write.(1)Students translate the phrases into English by answering quickly; (2)Read together;(3)Spot test:Consolidate the usage of phrases by making sentences in front of class.Task 2: 1.I can practice.
