my views on english teachingwhen referring to english teaching, first of all i think it necessary to talk about the teaching of language skills.there are two kinds of language teachings, one is communicative language teaching (clt), and the other one is task-based language teaching (tblt) .the translation of communicative competence in language teaching practice is to develop learners language skills, that is, listening, speaking, reading and writing. clt has not taken placed of the previous approaches or methodologies. it has only expanded these areas: language content to incorporate functions, learning process mentioned cognitive style and information processing, and language skills product. so it is important to note that clt requires a higher level of communicative competence of the teacher. it also requires that the teacher develops a wider range of skills beyond the presentation and explanation of grammatical structures.task-based language teaching is widely promoted in english language teaching nowadays. in fact, it is a further development of communicative language teaching. it shares the same beliefs, as language should be learnt as close as possible to how it used in real life because of this, it is significant to have a balance between the focus on holistic and the focus on form. traditional aspect of language teaching, such as grammar, vocabulary and individual skills, should not be neglected because they all play a supportive role enabling the students to handle the tasks. its vital to know that accuracy and fluency are not opposites or alternatives.to conclude, a method is effective only when it is appropriate to the teaching context .therefore, when a new method or approach emerges, it is unwise to simply cast away the traditional and follow the new trend. the best thing to do is to improve ones own teaching methods based on the context where one teaches and integrates the merits of different methods to serve the purpose of ones teaching objectives and the needs of ones students. secondly, i want to talk about my it was last term that our institute organized the teaching practice or half a month. i experienced a lot indeed. before having my own lesson, i listen more, write down more, and watch videos all the time. it was not until last night that was i brainstorming myself. just through one class-only thirty five minutes, i enjoy myself on the platform. i am an outgoing girl. i like to smile all the time. at the same time, i am not serious enough. as for becoming an english teacher, i must adjust myself to the occupation .next, communications used to be a big problem. i need to explain accurately and try my best to be understood by my students. communication process is a teaching and learning process. next week, i will start my internship in the university; i ought to grasp the good chance to polish my abilities on teaching skills. i could hold my passion on teaching career. with confidence patience and persist, i believe i can finish the last college course perfectly. thirdly, lets talk about the advantages and disadvantages of an english teacher called chechen in lushan primary school.she used individual、pair、group and whole class to create a pleasant and dynamic classroom. she brought interests and variety to the practice of pronunciation. for example, asking students to practice an expression in different tones to show anger, happiness and so on. her voices are good. her gestures are various and at the end of class, she arranged an activity “fashion show”, which inspired many students. meanwhile, there were couples of drawbacks. one is that she did not response to the students who raised ones hand all the time. and she did not point out the new word in the new sentences even forgot to write down on the blackboard. besides, her stance wasnt very well .these are my suggestions as follow. teacher should take student-centered strategy. she can give more opportunities to answer questions and to show themselves. she must highlight the difficult point through the whole class. every action in class might be cautious, avoiding detracting students attention. it would be better that every action or expression of ours is arranged before class.at last, i shall share my dream with you .my dream is to become a teacher after graduation. although i have knew how to teach, how to take a normal class, and how to show my emotion on my students. up to now, i can not control myself well such as my actions, and sometimes i am not sure the pronunciation of some words. it was this summer that i truly understand the meaning of experience. but as a tutor, i am proud of being a teacher. as a true teacher, dont know what i lack of? as a senior student, i dont think how much time l has? even, as a student, i dont know what abilit
