How do scholars communicate with each other? How does one join a new community which communicates through texts (e.g. sms, or text messaging)? Lots of observation, try contributing, check responses, imitate features, revise, understand ways of thinking Successful communication All good communication depends on Knowledge of audience Clarity of purpose After you know these two things, you craft your ideas so that your communication will succeed Knowing the Audience Try to guess the audiences for each sentence 1.
