Written by Sophia JexBlake in 1873, the sevenpage document, which urged the university to allow women to study medicine at the institution, was released yesterday on International Womens Day.The document was discovered buried in the university archives (档案)by parttime history student Lis Smith, who is completing her PhD at St Andrews Institute of Scottish Historical Research.
