Unit 15 DestinationsI.教学内容分析随着经济的发展,越来越多的人喜欢去国内外景点旅游,但是在此之前必须要有关于旅游的一些知识。本单元的中心话题是“旅行目的地”,内容具体涉及介绍世界名城,如何办理出国旅游手续,出国旅游前的计划和准备等。在本单元里,学生将会学到关于旅游的一些知识,这些知识不仅可以节省钱,还可以避免一些麻烦,为旅游带来许多乐趣。语法部分是复习非谓语动词,通过一系列练习,让学生理解非谓语动词的用法。Warming up提供了一幅世界地图,让学生想象自己得到了一张免费的环球旅行机票,要求学生选择沿途观光的5个城市并简单说明原因。该部分旨在通过单元教学,使学生能够用所学的知识,发挥想象,描述自己的旅行目的地,并帮助学生复习如何描述城市的地理位置,了解名胜古迹及当地的文化风俗。Listening是关于如何选择旅游目的地的内容,提供了希腊、伊拉克、墨西哥、巴西、南太平洋、格陵兰岛等6个地方的图片。本部分设计了三个问题。第一和第二个问题是关于听力内容的细节问题,要求学生根据所听的内容填空,第三部分要求学生听后能表达自己的判断和决定。Speaking是一个任务型教学活动。本部分提供了一系列旅客在旅行途中可能遇到的服务质量问题的情景设计,要求学生学会如何表达自己的抱怨及如何应答对方的抱怨。通过这些活动,让学生体验旅途中吃、住、行方面的一些经历,使学生在比较真实的环境中训练口头表达能力。Pre-reading要求学生在所提供的表格中填人家乡在饮食、交通及旅游景点等方面的重要信息。该部分是开放性问题,要求学生开动脑筋,通过小组讨论找出问题的答案,引导学生为下一步“阅读”做好准备。 Reading部分是一篇介绍里约热内卢和基茨比厄尔两个旅游城市的说明文体裁的文章。文章共分三个部分:第一部分:向旅游者推荐这两个旅游胜地。 第二部分:具体介绍巴西第二大城市里约热内卢。 第三部分:具体介绍了位于奥地利南部的滑雪胜地基茨比厄尔。 本部分要求学生能了解这两个地方的特色、风土人情,并学会如何介绍旅游城市。Post-reading是在阅读的基础上,通过三个练习题来检查学生对文章的理解程度。第一个问题要求根据Pre-reading从几个方面分析里约热内卢这个城市。第二题要求学生能理解课文中的一些词组、短语以及重点句子。第三题要求学生通过讨论形式将文章中所提供的这两个城市的信息进行比较、概括、填人表格,并进行分析对比,进而表达出自己的旅游意愿并给出原因。Language study分词汇和语法两个部分。词汇部分设计了两个练习题,第一个习题给出5个未完成的句子,要求学生选择课文中学过的词汇来完成句子,其目的是帮助学生复习词汇,加深对词汇的理解和运用。第二个习题是选择短语并用其适当的形式进行短文填空。Grammar是关于-ing,-ed,to do在句中功能的复习。首先通过例句复习他们各自的用法,然后通过练习1要求学生指出-ing形式的句子功能;通过练习2用-ing形式改写句子,让学生加深对动名词的理解;通过练习3,让学生巩固有关非谓语动词的知识。Integrating skills集阅读、听力、写作于一体。第一部分所提供的阅读材料对出国旅游应该做哪些准备工作,提供了一些信息和建议。阅读教材上的四个问题,并要求学生在理解后讨论,假设自己去旅行,应该注意哪些方面。写作部分要求学生在阅读的基础上,自己选择一个旅游胜地,并设计一份旅游指南。Tips介绍写一份旅游指南应包含的内容。IV.教学步骤Period 1 Warming up,ListeningTeaching Goals:1.To train students listening and speaking abilities.2.To get the students to talk about travel and cities.3.To arouse students interest in the topic.4.To study new words and expressions.Teaching Procedures:Step 1.Warming up1.Game:Get the whole class to talk about their favourite places.
