By introducing a brand name to potential customers, and by associating the product with customers needs, ad-makers do their endeavor to appeal to customers emotions and influence their choices. But people react to ads in different way differently. Some think are useful and entertaining while others think they are annoying. As id often the case, good ads allow customers to make better decision, everything taken into consideration and improve society, bad ads often mislead customers by hidden information, a bait-and-witch trick and Famous persons effects. Judging from this, we must distinguish between good ads and false ads by a pair of “Wise Eyes”.VII. Homework(I). Find out objects and object complements in the passage.(II).
