教学设计教材版本及授课内容:人教版新课标选修8第三单元 Inventors and inventions Warming up and reading授课教师:江西省安义中学 邹胡琴Analyses of the textbook: The warming up part is to identify inventions and discoveries, and to give th definitions of them. Pre-reading shows us the procedures of getting a patent. Reading passage is about a story how to catch snakes without hurting them and how to get a patent.Analyses of the students: The 24 students are from Nanchang Foreign High School, which are not familiar to me, but most of their overall qualities are good.Teaching aims: 1. Knowledge aims: 1) to help the Ss master the key words and phrases. 2) to hep the Ss to grasp the main idea of the text and how to get a patent. 2. Ability aim: Enable the students to design their own inventions and illustrate their ideas in proper way. 3. Emotional aim: to make students learn to be creative and thoughtful in daily life.Teaching important and difficult points: to fully understand the passage and to help students to show the activities.Teaching methods: Task-based teaching method, Skimming, Scanning and Group work.Teaching aids: A multi-media classroomTime arrangement: Lead in: 1 Warming up: 5 Pre-reading: 2 Prediction: 2 Reading comprehension: 20-25 Group work: 7-9 Homework:1Teaching procedures:Step 1 Lead-in Take mobile phones for example, and ask students to list more great inventions in our daily life.(这样开始,既贴近生活又激发了学生的学习兴趣。)Step 2 Warming upTo ask students to give the definitions of inventions and discoveries through several pictures.(通过展示图片,使得学生可以很直观和生动的了解发明和发现的区别,从而得出它们的定义。)Step3 Rre-readingTo put the right order for stages of getting a patent. And check it out after reading the text.(排列申请专利的正确步骤,在此不给出正确答案,留有悬念,等阅读之后再给出正确步骤,有利于激发学生的阅读兴趣。)Step 4 PredictionTo ask students what they would do if there were some snakes in their yard. At the same time, give several pictures related to snakes and the text.Later, read the text and find out what the writer did.(提前涉入课文,让学生给出他们的想法再看作者是如何做的。)Step 5 Reading(该部分是针对课文内容而设计的理解题目,其中使用了快速浏览,分段理解和仔细阅读的方法。并且在该部分,我一直坚持以教材为本,学生为中心,高考题型为指导,旨在提高学生的阅读能力,并且能改善学生的高考解题能力。)1.
