Warming up-Free talk:Ask students to have a free talk about his birthday or movies-Using can.For example: 1. A: Can I ask you some questions? B: Yes. A: When is your birthday? B: My birthday is June 6th. 2. A: Can you run? B: Yes. A: What kind of movies do you like? B: I like action movies.Step 2. I _ find my bag.(can).4).My brother _(not ,can) play ping - pong.5).-Can your sister _(paint )? -Yes, she _.(can).语言点导学:()join 表示加入某一组织或团体并成为其中一员,后面可跟名词或代词。如:join the swimming club, join us.()play the guitar, play表示弹奏(管弦乐器)乐器前须加定冠词the, play 还常用于表示“玩(球类)、玩棋、牌或其他游戏,宾语前不加 the. 如 : play soccer ,play chess, play cards.()can是情态动词,没有人称和数的变化,意为“能,会”,一般指在体力或脑力方面所具备的能力,还可用来提出请求,后面直接跟动词原形。eg: He can _(play) the guitar very well.Step3. Presentation .Learn the new words using the pictures or action: guitar, join, swim, sing, chess, paint ,speak, cantWrite the words can and cant on the board.Sing the national anthem of China .Then try to play the guitar, but dont do it very well.Point to the word can on the board and say, I can sing.Then point to the word “cant ”on the board and say, I cant play the guitar.Talk with the students using Can you sing/ dance ?eg. T: Can you sing, boys and girls? S: Yes, we can. T: Can you play the guitar? S: No, we cant. T: I cant, too. I want to join the music club .What club do you want to join ? S: I want to join the swimming club.4. Practice the conversation above. Then work in pairs.5. Open your text book. Turn to Page 13. Listen to 1b. 6. B: I like action movies.教后反思:本节课我主要采用小组合作的方式学习情态助动词can的用法,让学生在小组合作的过程中不断的学会思考与自学,同时还给学生思考的权利,学生之间互相取长补短,取得一定成绩,今后要多培养学生的自学能力,学会“放”。Unit 3 Can you play the guitar ? (Period 2 /Section A) 一 学习目标: Teaching aims and demands 1 知识目标:Knowledge goals 掌握本课的单词、短语及其应用 kid, our, playwell, be good with, help sb. with sth. etc, 2 能力目标: Ability goals 学会表达自己的才能,制作招聘广告。 3 情感目标:Emotion goals 正确看待自己的能力,相信自己并不断提高能力。二 教学过程:Teaching and learning proceduresStep 1 Warming upFree talk Ask students to talk about the abilities -using “can”For example : 1 A: Can you swim ? Yes, they _.D: 思考归纳3a ,3b中出现了不同的人称,实义动词都是_形式,因此含有can 的句式结构是:Can +_, 动词随人称变化吗?_.2 语言点导学(1) Can you play it well ? well 此处用作副词,修饰动词play. 与good 的区别 He is a _(好)boy. B: I like action movies.教后反思:本节课我主要是讲与can有关的句型,肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及肯否回答,我利用对话的形式与学生自由对话,让学生在表演中学习,引出Can you sing ?然后让学生根据实际情况回答,通过对话,既了解了学生的兴趣、爱好,又让学生在不知不觉中学会了应用知识,今后我会更加注意挖掘教材与学生生活的联系。 Unit 3 Can you play the guitar ? (Period 3 /Section B)一、学习目标:Teaching aims and demands 1.知识目标:Knowledge goals 巩固Can 的用法,掌握部分单词及短语的使用:or, musician, Sunday, rock band, show, pm etc. 2.能力目标:Ability goals 谈论自己的喜好和意愿,会制海报和写招聘广告。 3.情感目标:Emotion goals 通过谈论彼此的特长与爱好,培养一种集体意识。 二、教学过程:Teaching and learning procedures Step 1、Warming up Free talk Ask students to have a talk about abilitiesusing some musical instruments.For example :A: Here are all the clubs .What club do you want to join ? B: Sorry ,I dont know . A: Can you sing ? B: No, I cant. A: Can you play the guitar ? B: No, I cant . A: What can you do? B:I can draw, so I can join the art club. (Period 4 Self check) 一 : 学习目标:Teaching aims and demands 1.知识目标Knowledge goals 巩固已学单词和短语,学习剩余部分单词和短语的使用 may, draw, little, a little, e-mail, address, why, an e-mail address, why 引导的疑问句 2.能力目标 Ability goals 能用英语进行招聘,应聘的简单对话,参加面试能够填写个人档案袋. 3.情感目标 Emotion goals 召开现场招聘会,培养学生的综合运用语言的能力以及合作意识和团队精神,提高兴趣,增强自信. 二: 教学过程 Teaching and learning procedures Step 1 Warming up -Free talk Ask students to have a talk about Section A and Section B For example 1.
