Before you go and buy one, I think you need to ask yourself these questions. 1 Would you like a big robot or a small one? 2 What would you like your robot to do for you? 3 How long would you like your robot to work every day? 4 How long do you think the robots batteries should last for? 5 How long do you expect your robot to last? T:In these questions, we ask about different things. In question 1, we ask about the size. In question 2, we ask about the type of work. In question 3, we ask about the work hours. In question 4, we ask about the power. In question 5, we ask about the lifespan. (lifespan是指东西的使用寿命)Step 2 Read the questionnaire T:When Daniels parents got Daniel the new robot, the shopkeeper had asked Daniel to fill in a questionnaire. Here is the completed questionnaire. You can also find the questionnaire on Page 35 in your books. T:Now, lets have a look at the questionnaire. Do you agree with Daniels answers? Discuss with your partner. T:Everything sounds good. But would the robot be like this? No, the robot went wrong after two weeks and it stopped working. Daniel decided to write a compliant letter to the shop. You can find the letter on Page 36 in your books. T:Can you read the complaint letter and find out the differences between the robot and Daniels expectations?T:Have you finished reading the letter?
