Its a/an. 2.Be able to know how to recite the dialogueTeaching aids: Recorder, PPT, different fruitsTeaching procedure:Step 1 Warming up 1. Greetings Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. 2.Sing a song The Little IndiansStep 2 Presentantion1.Review some common fruit like “apple”and“pear”that the Ss already know.2.Vocabulary Show a picture to the Ss, and ask: Whats this?Help the Ss answer: Its a banana. Write banana on the Bb,let the Ss read it. Teach pineapple、orange、lemon、mango in the same way.3.New patterns: Game 1: “Watch and Guess”. T: Look here carefully.Is this a ?Ss:Yes, it is. /No, it isnt.(PPT helps to show the sentences : Is this a/an.? Yes,it is. No, it isnt. Its a/an.) More practice . 4. The dialogue T: Lingling and Mingming like English very much. They are talking about fruit now. What kind of fruit are they talking about? T shows PPT and plays the tape. T: Open your books. Listen and read. (The pronunciation of “isnt”and “an orange” may be difficult for Ss) Imitation:Ss imitate Picture 1 to 3 one by one. Leaen the new words “market” and “classroom”. T: Mingming and Lingling are in a fruit market.But they dont want to buy any fruit. They just pick up some fruit, asking and answering questions. The boss knows this ,he is very angry.Listen to Picture 4,and repeat after the tape.Step 3 Practice1. Practice the dialogue in the text book,and act out on the stage.2.
