So we can learn that anythinghasboth advantages and disadvantages. We should treat everything correctly. Train students listening, speaking, reading and writing ability.二、Teaching and learning steps :Step One: Revision: Have a free talk to practice the Object Clause using the pictures in the flashcard. eg. -Could you tell me where the post office is ? -Sure. It is on the Bridge Street. etc.Step Two: Preview: 1、Let the students read the words according to the phonetic symbols.(让学生学会用据音标读单词，学会自学，这样为他们的终身学习奠定基础) 2. Look at P88, put the following into English orally, then write them down without looking at the textbook.1) 在商场_ 2) 决定做某事_3) 和某人谈论某事_ 4）干嘛不做_ 5) 闲逛 _ 6) 更喜欢做某事_7) 待在外面_ 8) 那里总有事情发生_9). 免费的音乐会 _ 10).看人也不错 _ 11) 进入音像店_ 12）听CD _ 13）浏览书籍_ 14）花太多的钱 _ 【设计意图】 培养学生养成预习习惯，并用简单工具书查找信息，遇到困难时有效地寻求帮助。3. Write the words advantages and disadvantages on the board and ask students to explain them in their own words .To get started, the teacher might ask , What are some advantages and disadvantages to owning a car? 【设计意图】鼓励学生自主的学习单词，让每一位学生都行动起来，去积极地学习和记忆单词，这样可以起到事半功倍的作用。Step Three: Warming up and leading in热身导入Ask the students to look at the pictures and ask them Do you think where it is ?They may answer A supermarket or mall. Then ask Do you like going to the mall or not? And why? Let the students express their feelings.（鼓励学生尽可能的说出自己的观点。）Pairwork: A: Do you like going to the mall or not? And why? B: Yes, I do .Because No, I dont. .Because .【设计意图】此环节利用小组竞赛形式，鼓励学生不拘泥课件，畅所欲言，吸引学生的兴趣，学生能够用所给的词汇表达对逛商场的看法，为下一步的阅读及对话练习做好了铺垫。)Step Four : Reading1. Read the first two sentences at the top of the article Explain that the interviewer will talk to several teenagers. Ask students to read the interview on their own and write the advantages and disadvantages,Check the answers. 【设计意图】: 训练学生集中精力快速阅读，敏锐捕获信息的能力跳读的能力，一般的中下等学生都能找出。此环节设计简单，目的让学生树立信心。 2. Then ask students to read the interview again. (When they have finished, ask if any words or sentences they dont understand .Write these words or sentences on the board and discuss them. Ask other students to explain them in their own words, if possible). 3. The student read the dialogue in pairs, try to have dialogues without books.【设计意图】: 此阅读让学生从整体上理解thereview，解疑答惑之后，让学生大声朗读对话，目的是让学生在读的过程中，体会各词汇及语法要点，同时提高他们读和口语表达能力，为读后输出做准备。Step Five ：Post-reading activities读后活动Task One :Show the following flashcard, ask the students to fill in the blanks. Task Two : Read it aloud, try to retell them.【设计意图】这是关于3a Review评论的课文复述，此环节分层次要求，程度中下等可看课件复述，成绩优秀的学生，可用自己的语言复述。(鼓励中下等学生读出，小组竞赛复述这篇对于逛商场的评论，哪怕说一句也要表扬，让他们体会成功)。 此环节不仅是进一步的培养学生的阅读能力，也培养他们的复述课文的能力。让学生在了解文章的基础上，锻炼他们的思维能力、口头表达能力。Task Three :Groupwork 1. Read the instructions to the class. Point out the conversation in the box and ask two students to read to the class.2. Point out the list of advantages and disadvantages in activity 3a .Ask the students to use these items and any other items they can think of as they talk about places where they usually hang out .3.Ask students to work in groups and then ask a few groups to present parts of their conversations to the class.【设计意图】：学生首先两人一组做对话，聊他们平时喜欢去的地方，可不拘泥3b形式，鼓励英语基础薄弱的学生大胆说出，哪怕能说一句也是成功。在做对话中，学生在潜移默化中学会了解了advantages and disadvantages这两个个单词。Task Four :Use the target language to practice reading, writing, listening and speaking. 1) Ask students to look back at the picture and activities on the first page of this unit .2) Ask a student to read the example in the box to the class.3）Ask students to say the names of some stores and other places in the community and write them on the board. 4) Each group can choose three of each to write about, or they can choose another place they know of .Write carefully directions from the school to each place , but do not say the name of the place ,they can use the words this place instead.5) When the groups are ready, they read their directions to the class and the other students guess the names of the places they are talking about. 【设计意图】：Use the target language to practice reading, writing, listening and speaking.利用本课的目标语言进行听说读写的各项练习。另外，操练用题不一定拘泥于课本，可选择他们感兴趣的话题进行讨论，做调查，甚至写作。通过由浅入深，由易到难的教学设计，学生已经可以顺利的表达出来，写下来当然就容易的多了，并运用多元的角度进行及时评价，并抓住任何一次可能的机会进行表扬，让中下游的学生体验成功。Step Six: Sum up课堂小结:【设计意图】学生尽可能自己有条理说出今日所学,让学生学会自己总结Step Seven : The end of class test 当堂检测： Homework :教学反思：本节课一开始，先展示了一些地点的图片，吸引学生们的兴趣，并引导他们运用Could you tell me where .?句型，为本课阅读打下好的基础，为投入本课的学习创造积极的心理状态，并引入本节课的主题：对逛商场评论的阅读。快速阅读读取大意，降低了阅读的难度，增强了学生尤其是中下水平学生的自信心；通过读取细节，培养学生在阅读的过程中，根据任务要求,抓住细节，解决实际问题的能力和快速浏览信息和迅速扑捉有用信息能力，利于提高学生的阅读能力。同时我又利用activitis3 and 4，讨论某个地点的优缺点以及会描述从一个地方到另一个地方的路径，此环节为本节课的输出。我认为学习不应拘泥形式，要找学生们感兴趣的话题，真正的教学，每一个环节都是在教会学生如何学习，一切的中心、重心都是在想方设法培养学生的终身学习能力。而这些能力的培养，离不开老师的激
