Scope of Supply This contract covers one unit Quayside Container crane with the rated capacity of 30.5ton under spreader and an outreach of 35m to be supplied to Port in Burma. It should include the following: 1.1 The design, manufacture, assembly, overall erection, commissioning, testing of the crane and to transport the crane onto the site in a fully completed state. 1.2 N/A 1.3 N/A 1.4 One (1) unit of 45t hook beam together with headblock and its skeletal trailer. 1.5 One (1) unit of portable spreader simulator with PLC function. 1.6 Tie-down device with on-crane fixture and wire rope. 1.7Design and manufacture of berth anchoring device for each crane. 1.8 Each crane shall be furnished with high-voltage, optical fiber contained cable that in a sufficient length to ensure the crane is able to travel 250m along the rail track either right side or left. 1.9One (1) set of high-voltage power supply junction box including optical cable junction box, and their fixtures and installation. 1.10 One unit (1) of portable wire rope inspection apparatus. 1.11 Spare parts, tools, apparatus, instruments and meters supplied with each crane. 1.12 One(1) portable programmer (note-book size) with software equivalent to LCMSs and its communication line. 1.13 Technical service and documents. 2. Brief Introduction of the Project 2.1The port in Burma:geographical position (needing purchasers information) 2.2Description of the port (needing purchasers information) 2.3condition of the port (needing purchasers information) 3.Crane Description 3.1 Purpose and Function of Crane 3.1.1 Purpose of crane The crane shall handle container at the quayside of the port in Burma. 3.1.2 Function of crane The crane shall be installed on the berth rails, capable of traveling along the rail. Equipped with a single-lift spreader, the crane shall be able to directly handle one unit of standard ISO 20 containers or one unit of standard ISO 40 container and/or one unit of standard APL 45 container. The rated lifting capacity is 30.5ton under single- lift spreader. The spreader can be replaced with hook beam with rated load of 40.5ton to handle other cargoes. The crane can not only perform the motion of hoisting and/or trolley traveling alone 3 or simultaneously with load, but also perform gantry traveling and/or trolley traveling alone or simultaneously, as well as boom hoisting and the trim, list and skew motions for spreader. Crane girder shall be box type structure, connection between girder and boom shall be straight beam hinge joint or double hinge point joint. Trolley travel shall be of wire rope driven type. Power supply of the crane shall be high-voltage and 380V low-voltage AC will be supplied on the berth for emergency driving equipment to enable hoisting, trolley travel and boom hoisting to be performed at low speed. Electric driving system of crane main mechanisms will be full digital AC frequency conversion and PLC control speed adjusting. Hoisting mechanism has function of invariable power speed adjusting control. Crane management system have functions of data collection, analysis, status monitoring and malfunction detection. Crane main data and running status can be displayed in electrical room, operators cabin and ground control center. Various safety protections will be equipped to ensure a reliable and safe operation. 0 A safe and reliable personnel elevator will be equipped on crane. 3.2 Main Parameters of Crane 3.2.1 Loading capacity: 30.5ton (under spreader), 40.5ton under hook beam; 3.2.2 Container size: 20, 40 ISO standard container, and 45 APL standard container. 3.2.3Spreader type: 20, 40 ISO container telescopic single-lift spreader that can lift one unit of 20, 40 and 45 APL container. The rated capacity of the twin-lift spreader shall be 30.5ton. 3.2.4 Rail gauge: 16m; 3.2.5 Outreach: 35m; 3.2.6 Backreach: 10m; 3.2.7 Hoisting height (above rail): 25m between top of rail and bottom of twist lock. Lowering height (below rail): 12m between top of rail and bottom of twist lock. 3.2.8 Clearance distance between legs: 15.8m 3.2.9The clearance of portal cross beams at landside/seasidel (above the rail): 13m 3.2.10 Overall crane width:28.5 3.2.11 Speed Hoisting speed: 30.5ton under spreader at ourtreach of 35m: 50m/min Lowering (unload):120m/min; Trolley : 150m/min; Gantry travel: 45m/min; Boom hoisting time for one complete hoisting or lowering operation: 10min; 3.2.12 Speed under emergency condition: Hoisting: 2m/min (full load under spreader) Trolley travel: 3m/min (full load under spreader) Boom hoisting time for one complete hoisting or lowering operation: 60min 3.2.13 Wheel distance: 1.0m 3.2.14 Wheel load: 4 In operation: -kN; In non-operation: -kN; The Bidder shall provide wheel load calculations in operation and non-operation conditions with his bid. 3.2.15 Spreader parameters Capable of lifing one unit of 20, 40 and 45 container. The rated load for a single-lift spreader is 30.5ton; Telescopic speed: 30s (from 20 to 40 or 40 to 20); 3.2.16 The trim, list and skew of the spreader List adjustment: 5 with rated load Trim adjustment:3 with rated load Skew adjustment: 5, speed 0.5/second Eccentric load capacity of spreader when performing list adjustment, trim adjustment and skew adjustment: for 20 container, 0.6m along axial trend and 0.2m along vertical trend; for 40 container, 1.2m along axial trend and 0.2m along vertical trend. 3.2.17Anti-sway: non. 3.2.18 Elevator Load capacity at safety load of 400kg: four (4) people with tools Speed: 0.45m/s Stop floors: at ground level, cross beam with cable reel, operators cabin and machine house; 3.2.19 Gantry buffer height: -1200mm 3.2.20 Gantry travel distance: 250m from high-voltage junction box 3.2.21 Power supply: -6.3kv 3.3 Main Associated Parts and Assembly 3.3.1Bidder will select the potential suppliers for parts and assembly (famous brand in China) 4.Standards and Codes 4.1Design and manufacture of crane shall be accordance with following international standards and codes: Structure: FEM -Federation Europeenne DE La Manutentio; Material: BSBritish Standard or relative Chinese standards; Mechanism: FEM- Federation Europeenne DE La Manutention; Gears: AGMA; Electric: IEC- International Electrotechnical Commission; Coating: SIS- Standard Iserings Kommissionen Sverige; Welding: AWS- American Welding Society-Bridge and Dynamically Loaded Structures; Quality Control: ISO9001-International Standards Organization 9001; Security: GB3811 Crane design regulation; 5 GB6067 Crane safety regulation; IEC60204 mechanical security, electromechanical equipment part 32 crane technical condition; Port crane wind load regulation (JT/T90, Ministry of Communications of the PRC); Anti-gust and anti-typhoon management regulation for port large handling machine (3# order, 2003, Ministry of Communications of the PRC); Installation: Inspection and Assessment Standard of Port Facility Installation from JTJ244, Ministry of Communications of the PRC; High-voltage resistance test shall carry out in accordance with high-voltage test standard of power supply department. 4.2If Bidder wishs to use other equivalent or higher standard or regulations to replace or complement the above-mentioned standards, he shall provide the details with his bid for the Buyer to approve. 5.Units of Mearsurement and Language 5.1The units of mearsurement of design drawings, specifications, technical documents and other technical information concerned with the crane under the contract will be of international system of units unless otherwise stipulated. 5.2All letters, technical documents, instructions, design drawings and other written materials submitted to the Buyer will be written in Chinese and/or English, but the English prevails. 6.Design Conditions and Operation Condition Classifications 6.1 Design conditions 6.1.1We have drawn attention to the natural conditions of the sea area at the port in Burma for the crane to be mounted. The crane running continuously in with condition of strong wind, heavy salty fog have been considered in the process of design, selection of associated parts and assembly, steel structure manufacturing and crane installation.
