外国语学院各类硕士研究生和研究生班学员申请硕士学位论文格式的基本要求(另可参考后附的论文模版,该模版采用MLA的格式,这并非是唯一可采用的格式,常见的格式还有APA格式。但无论采用哪种格式,整篇论文应该采用同一种格式。请按照导师的要求进行必要调整。)申请我院各类硕士学位的所有学生和学员都应按照下列格式要求提交硕士学位论文。1、 论文封面和封底页统一由学校提供,封面页上的有关内容由学生打印填写。2、 封面下的扉页格式如下:The Application of Humanistic Psychology in Learner-centered Approach to English Language Teaching (论文题目)Written by:X XSupervised by:XXXA Thesis Submitted toForeign Languages CollegeShanghai Normal UniversityIn Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements forThe Degree of Master ofEnglish Language and LiteratureApril 20063、 致谢页(Acknowledgements)4、 梗概和关键词页(Abstract; Keywords):梗概字数在400词左右,关键词在5个词语左右,该两项分别用英语和汉语分页撰写。5、 目录页(Contents):列出论文各项目的名称和所在页页码。上述3-5项的页码用罗马数字标示。6、 正文: a) 正文用Times New Roman或宋体、小四号或12号、1.5行距。段首缩进0.63厘米,所有正文皆左右切齐,段与段之间勿加入空白行。b) 引文格式视该引文的字数而定。内容少于40字的引文可直接在句子中引用。该引文应合并在有关句子中并以引号括起来。40字以上的引文要以单一的段落显示,不用引号,但每行均自左缩进0.63厘米,靠左对齐,且首段之首行不内缩。引文后加括号注明引文的出处,即原作者姓名,非汉语姓名只写姓,加逗号,再加上引文出版年份,其它更详细的内容均归入“参考文献”中。c) 各章题目应为黑体、居中、14号或四号字。其余标题用12号或小四号字。标题层次如:.1.1.d) 图像与表格(Table; Graph; Chart; Diagram):每个图标均要有名称,并按照先后编号。同一图标勿出现在两页上。7、 附录(Appendix):如果论文包含有附录,要按照正文中标示的顺序,放在正文之后,参考文献之前。正文中要标出每个附录的名称(如:Appendix 1)。8、 参考文献(Bibliography; References; Works Cited):置于论文的最尾部分。文献的排列方式为:英文以第一作者或编者姓氏之字母顺序排列,中文应按第一作者或编者姓氏之汉语拼音的拉丁字母顺序排列。参考文献的格式有多种,一篇论文应采纳某一种格式。以英文常见的MLA格式为例:Book Author Last Name, Author First Name. Book Title. Publication Location: Publisher, Publication Year. Encyclopedia article Article Title, Encyclopedia Name. Edition Year ed. Newspaper, magazine, or journal article Author Last Name, Author First Name. Article Title Publication Title Publication Date: page numbers. Book review Reviewer Last Name, Reviewer First Name. Rev. of Book Title by Book Author First and Last Name. Publication Location: Publisher, Publication Year. Film, movie Movie Title. Dir. Director First and Last Name. Studio or Distributor, Movie Release Date. Internet source Author Last Name, Author First Name. Article or Page Title. Site Name. The other two are “experience” and “reasoning” (Cohen and Manion 1). 2.1 ExperienceExperience is a kind of development of personal knowledge of the world. It is regarded as an individually accumulated body of knowledge (Cohen and Manion 1). 2.2 Reasoning论文中插入附录的地方,按此格式,按顺序排列。如:Appendix 1, Appendix 2, 等等。It is not difficult to see that inductive reasoning in foreign language learning often leads to hypothesis formation.Deductive reasoning (Appendix 1) begins with basic beliefs, theories, assumptions, propositions, and so on, the validity of which is assumed and untested (Howard 8). This is a mental activity from a general idea to specific cases. In foreign language learning, .There is an obvious limitation in reasoning as an activity. According to Cohen and Manion (3), “it reasoning was no longer related to observation and experience and became merely a mental exercise”. That is to say, the credibility of reasoning, whether inductive or deductive, will be questionable once reasoning is not connected to the reality. Now consider the hypothesis that “-s” used with a countable noun indicates the idea of “two or more” again. As noted by Quirk and his co-authors (297), “unlike some languages where plural implies two or more, English makes the division after more than one: one half day, one day But: one and a half days, two days, one or two days”.
