创新：小学英语写作教学的启示厦门实验小学 傅黎芬小学生学英语只要会说说、唱唱、玩玩就够了吗？答案是否定的。新课程标准要求教师要“重视对学生实际语言运用能力的培养的倾向，发展学生的综合语言运用的能力形成自主学习的能力。” 要具备这些能力，教师就要引导学生经常进行真正意义上的语言实践，培养学生用英语表达内心真实感受的习惯，这种有意义的、创造性的活动，有助于学生更快地朝目标迈进，我们为什么不给孩子们搭建展示这种实践能力的舞台呢？由于语言环境有限，有相当一部分孩子没有很多口头交流的机会，然而书面表达却不仅有着广阔的空间，又是口头表达的深化，同时又会促进口头表达能力的提高，所以引导孩子们尝试英语小练笔是实现教学目标的有效途径之一。同时，这一举措也是创新理念在教学中的体现。一、学生们创作英语小练笔有着丰富的资源、巨大的潜力和现实意义首先，新标准英语这一教材为学生们进行创作提供了强有力的保障。她所蕴含的丰富的资源让我可以用一种全新的理念、个性化的教学来引导学生们学习英语。信息量大、内容丰富、生动活泼、富时代气息、充满童真童趣是这一教材的主要特征，孩子们很喜爱这一套书，也乐于学习、模仿。四年级的学生接触这套教材才一年多，就有相当一部分的孩子不仅可以很好地掌握大纲要求的内容，而且可以把课本上的内容加以延伸和扩展。模仿课文的主题，联系实际生活写小练笔，既可以充分发挥这一套教材的优点，又可以满足这一部分学生的愿望。其次，开放式的教学要求教师不能低估了这些学生的能力。他们朝气蓬勃，活泼聪明，易于接受新事物，具有很大的潜力和可塑性。人们常喜欢用定性思维来评估孩子的能力，认为有些事，大人都做不好，孩子根本做不了，而事实不然。英语写作也是一样，不要以为孩子一定要到了多大的年龄才会创作，要知道再小的孩子也有自己的思想，也有表达自己的愿望。我们不要苛求孩子的英语表达要有多少的文采，语法结构有多么的正确，只要他们用稚嫩的笔写下五、六个句子，甚至一、两句真实的感受，我们都应该大声喝彩，及时给予肯定和鼓励。第三，学习英语的有效方法是：学中用，用中学，才会事倍功半。学生们答对了我们设计的练习题，不是学英语的最终目标。这些练习只是类似于文字的游戏，是为掌握应试考试的各种解题技巧而设计的，是非完整意思的碎片，是机械的，所以我们不能让孩子们只满足于这种非真正意义上的书面语言运用。学习的目的是能够用这一门语言来表达自己的感受或与他人交流，我们应围绕这一目的给学生们创造条件。二、从模仿新标准英语的某些篇章开始，学生们揭开了英语小练笔的序幕教过“海外来信”一课后，我鼓励学生们试着给好朋友写一封信，他们的出色表现让我意识到，这套教材的作用不仅仅只是课堂上的教科书，还是进行延伸性学习的有力后盾，学生的能力和潜力也有待我去尽情地开发。此后，学生们模仿课文描写了许多发生在生活中的故事或阐述个人对某件事的看法，不但牢固地掌握了课本的知识，而且扩展了知识。以下两篇小短文，就是从部分孩子的英语小练笔中，选出的具有代表性的作品，这些作品几乎都可以从新标准英语的课文中找到影子。Dear Harry Potter（哈利波特）: How are you?
