What is their opinion of cloning?2)Students practice reading skills Teaching important and difficult points:1) What are the advantages of cloning?2) What are the problems or dangers of cloning? 3) What are their opinions of cloning?Teaching methods:Fast and careful reading; asking and answering.Teaching aids:A blackboard and a computerTeaching procedures: Step: Lead inWe have already finished warming up. I believe you have got some information about cloning. Now, who can tell us what kinds of things have been cloned successfully?S: sheep.T: Good. Could you answer the question in a complete sentence: “Sheep have been cloned successfully.”Then, ask another two students to answer the question in a complete sentence.Step : show some pictures about the important events in cloning history. Step : use a picture and the question “Do you want to be cloned?” “Where is cloning leading us?” to arise Ss interest in the Reading text. Step : words revision First:show the Ss two columns on the screen.Second: ask some Ss to match these two columns.
