英语:Module 7Planes,boats and trains教案(1)(外研版七年级下)教学目标功能:三者或更多事物之间的比较。语法:形容词的最高级;by +交通工具词汇:bus ferry, plane, subway, taxi, train, airport, bus stop, ferry terminal, station, distance, fare, international, journey, passenger, travel.听:能听懂含有形容词最高级形式的对话以及对交通工具的描述。说:能使用形容词最高级形式谈论乘坐的交通工具。读:能读懂有关旅游和交通方面的文章,并能将标题和段落相匹配。写:能用形容词最高级形式描写旅行。演示与表达:能介绍自己或他人的旅行以及乘坐的交通工具。自学策略:能注意发现语言现象背后的规律,并能运用规律举一反三。合作学习策略:积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。其他:在阅读中学会应用寻找细节的阅读策略。文化意识:主动了解英语国家有关旅游和交通等方面的信息,并密切联系自己的日常生活,从而拓展视野、激发学习英语的兴趣。任务:能够根据表格分析数据,并谈论相关信息。教学重点本模块主要学习形容词的最高级形式及“by交通工具”的用法,围绕“旅游与交通”这一话题进行语言活动,使学生达到能够描述自己或他人旅行的目的。教学难点1、 To understand conversations with superlative adjectives .2、 To ask and answer questions about transport and travel.3、 To get information from the reading material about traveling times.4、 To be able to match headings with paragraphs, find specific information and match words with meanings . To transfer information from a table to sentences and to give results with “so”.5、 To summarise and consolidate superlatives and “by+ means of transport”6、 To learn about the longest railway journey. 教学设想本模块围绕“旅游与交通”这一话题,展开了听、说、读、写方面的活动。语法重点是学习形容词最高级的形式和by +交通工具的用法。学生通过对形容词最高级形式的操练,能够就相关话题进行问答;并且在阅读过程中,学会应用寻找细节的阅读技巧,能将标题与段落、单词与释义相匹配。本模块的任务活动是根据表格分析数据,并将表格中的信息转换成文字进行输出,来描述自己或他人的旅行。教学过程Unit 1 Tony has the longest journey.PreparationAsk the students how they get to school, and list their answers on the board.Ask for other ways to travel and list those, too.Ask who has traveled by the different means.1. Look at the pictures. What can you see?Ask the students to open their books and look at the pictures. Elicit what they can see.If there are any new means of travel, add them to the list on the board.2. Listen to the quiz. Match the words in Box 1 with the words in Box 2. Then match them with the pictures.3. Work in pairs . How do you go to school?4. Listen and read.Ask the students to listen to the text while they follow it in their books.5. Say who.Read through the sentences with the class following.Ask them to read through the dialogue and write a name in front of each sentence individually, then check with a partner.Collect their answers as whole sentences from the class.6. Listen and repeat the questions and answers in Activity 5.7. Work in pairs and check your answers to Activity 5.8. Work in groups. Ask and answer. Unit 2 Its the fastest train1. Look at the picture. Which words can you use to describe it?Ask the students to do this individually , then check their answers with a partner.Ask students to say what they can see in the picture. Accept one word answers at first and then encourage them to make sentences.2. Read the passage and match the paragraphs with the headings.Read through the headings, then ask the students to read and match individually.They can check their answers with a partner.Collect the answers from the class.3. Read the passage and check the true statements.Ask the students to do this individually, then check their answers with a partner.Collect the answers from the class.4. Match the words with their meanings.Read through the words and have the students repeat them chorally and individually.Take care with “international”, to get the stress on the third syllable.Decide if you want the students to use dictionaries to find out the meanings of unknown words.Ask the students to match individually, then check their answers with a partner.Collect the answers from the class as sentences.5.
