Description1.1 The intention of this instructionThe intention of writing this instruction is show the operator of production line how to use the Upgrade tool .1.2 Speeding of downloadingMTK platform support high speed downloading, the top speed can reach to 921600bit/s 1.3 Serial port supportThe upgrade tool can support multi Serial ports download, it can 16 supports at most at the same time.1.4 Software installingThe tool neednt install, you can copy the content to the local directly. if the save path of the software be changed, you should rest the program 1.5 Power settingSet the power out put 4V, current-limiting 2A1.6 ConfigurationYou need to set the parameters and documents of the software when using it first time. And the parameters will be saved automatically after configuration1.7 Software runningIt includes a document named MultiDownload.exe icons in the catalog, just double click it. 2. Operate steps2.1 Install the device driver.2.2 Uncompressing the tool (notice: the PC installed compressing software) .Then click the file, you can see the interface as picture 1. picture 12.3 Double-click the MultiDownload.exe icon (as picture 1), that pops up to see the interface as picture 2. picture 22.4 ConfigurationA, Use the Factory database pull-down menu to select setup data source as picture 3. Select and open the MTK_DATABASE.mdb in the tool catalog as picture 4.picture 3picture 4B, Use the File pull-down menu to select open download Agent file as picture 5. Select the MTK_Allinone_DA.bin in the tool catalog as picture 6.picture 5picture 6C, It will show the interface as picture 7 after A and B setting.picture 7D, Use the Option pull-down menu to select Backup and restore .option then Use the Backup and restore .option pull-down menu to select Download/format without backup and restore calibration data, as picture 8. picture 8E, Select UART in COM Port menu box, as picture 9.picture 9F, Downloading speed selection, normally select the highest speed 921600., as picture 10.picture 10G, The other setting as default.2.5 Select the upgrade file.Use the Scatter Files pull-down menu to select Image Folder. as picture 11picture 11Then select the *.BINfile in the upgrade software document as picture 12.picture 122.6 Com port selection.A,The COM port selecting depend on the fixed port of computer that the download cables insert in. Then click the right mouse button to select “management- device management “of “My Computer” to confirm the COM port. It shows the interface as picture 13. Then in the red frame on the right part of the interface, it shows the COM ports COM5. Notice: the computer must be installed device driver. picture 13 B, Select the COM 5 as picture 14. picture 14C, If you have more then one mobile need to upgrade,you can follow the method of A and B to select the COM port.2.7 Click Start all icon ,as picture 15.after the icons color changed from green to blue then insert the download cable into the mobile(with battery),Then press mobile power key to upgrade ,as picture 16.picture 15 picture 16The download beginning after the red progress bar reached to 100% as picture 16 and picture17. .Picture 17After the blue progress bar reached to 100%, the upgrade finished successfully as picture 18.picture 183 Failure analyse3.1 If the red progress bar reached to 100% but dont jump to next step, and the interface show DAEEROR.1, Try to lower the download speed level;2, Check if the download cable pins connect correctly;3, Check the main board or other hardware of the mobile.3.2If the mobile no responding when you press the key of power on af
