A侧重介绍我国的传统节日,学生在学习时,应该重点掌握由that,if/whether引导的宾语从句来表达自己的态度和看法;并且能够使用由how和what引导的感叹句;学会与节日相关的词语(包括节日的名称、与节日相关的专属用词)以及各种描述性词语(形容词及其习惯表达法)等。Section B主要围绕西方的两个节日Halloween和Christmas来展开,介绍西方国家的节日文化,侧重节日的文化内涵,让学生更深层次地理解西方文化。教师要鼓励学生通过课外阅读、查阅相关书籍、杂志或网络信息了解西方节日文化,一方面可以拓展学生的视野,另一方面也可以节省课堂的时间,同时也便于学生理解听力和阅读中的内容,减轻因背景文化积累不足所带来的学习压力。语言方面,学生要学习与这两个节日相关的专属文化词汇,进一步强化本单元的重点句型结构。技能方面,通过“听说入手突出阅读创写语篇”的过程培养学生的综合语言技能;在策略上侧重训练学生对阅读的深层理解,即除了了解语言的表层含义外,还应该培养学生的推断能力,能读懂字里行间的深层含义。文化意识和情感价值观方面,通过阅读语篇探讨圣诞节的含义,讲述吝啬鬼Scrooge发生转变的故事教育学生要懂得:关爱、同情及怜悯之心是人类社会的宝贵财富,应当继承和弘扬,要以爱心回报社会。The period of the unit.So it is important to get the students to know that they will learn to give a personal reaction and express their strong feeling using exclamatory sentences in this unit.At the expressions in conversations.After the students have some language practice,they can learn the new patterns and the objective clauses.New words and expressions are also main points in the first period are not clearly stated in the text.Students are supposed to be able to finish the tasks in each paragraph and then learn the whole passage and read aloud.They should sum up the important language items.So the teacher will help them to make a summary of the key points in this class.After reading,we can do some oral practice according to this text.They have an activity to roleplay the conversation between the three ghosts and Scrooge.This will also help the students to learn the text.I think the students should recite some paragraphs in order to remember the new language items.The
