This lesson is Module 5 Unit 1 in book 6 of New Standard English ,the main mission of this lesson is talking about something with adjectives.Make them learn new words: light,broken, pocket, heavy and functions are: This black bag is nice.Its heavy.The blue one is big and light.Itll be easy for her.)The main mission of this lesson is talking about something with adjectives.(Click)Analysis of pupils? They have learnt English for two years, and they have known some English, this lesson is not too difficult for them, but their harvest is different, A few pupils lost their hearts in learning it,so its very important to stir up their interest and foster their confidence,make them progress together.Before this lesson, the pupils have known some adjectives,( For example:big small short long,and so on.)and they also can talk about something with them.According to the analysis of teaching material and the analysis of pupils,so I think the teaching aims are(click)Knowledge aims:New words:Let the students grasp the new words:light, broken, pocket and heavy.Functions:Let them can use the functions:This black bag is nice.Its heavy.The blue one is big and light.Itll be easy for her. Grammer: The using of adjectives.Ability aims:Use the adjectives to describe something freely.Imotion aims:Stir up the students interest,encouragethem cooperate.四、1、The teaching important point :Learn the new words,functions and grammer.2、The difficult point is use the functions to discribe something freely. I resolve it by designing situation and making pupils cooperate.3、Teaching materialsTape-recorder,computer,some pictures and objects.4、Teaching method: Free talk and TPR.According to these, and I design the teaching procedure like this(Click) Warming upFirst,I let the pupils talk about these pictures,(show them) I show the panda , maybe they say :Its fat.The elephant, maybe they say:Its big,and so on.Then,I take out this balloon, let them talk about it. Maybe they say:Its big.Now,I show the titleIts big and light.(Write it on the blackboard .)In this part , pupils get ready for learning new knowledge by talking about these pictures. And they will be very excited when they see the big beautiful balloon,so they will be very happy and start new lesson.In order to making pupils be interested in this class,I design such an artful situation :We have got a big balloon,now lets make another one.So I take out an inflator and make the balloon bigger and bigger.Peng!Broken!Teach the word “broken”.At the same time I put the broken balloon in my pocket without pupils attention .Then I ask them:Where is my broken balloon? Maybe they will point to my pocket and sayThere!”Now I point to my pocket and teach it.In order to showing the word heavy,I put my English book on a heavy object, such as this table.Then I ask them Where is my English book? Make them pay attention to the table and let a student come to the front and carry it. He cant do it,so I show the word heavy and teach it.In this part,I try my best to design a very artful and real scene to make them learn the new words easily. New Structure Learning.I design this way to teach the pupils,its the teacher is a leader,and the pupils are main bodies.I lead the pupils to learn the knowledge initiatively.First I show a broken bag and say : This is Linglings bag ,its broken,.Ms Smart wants to buy a new one for her.Do you want to know which bag they buy?” So I play the tape twice and ask them some questions. The first time,listen and answer this question: (Click) Which bag do they buy? The second time,listen and answer four questions.(Click)How many bags in the dialogue? Whats the first bag like? Whats the second bag like? Why do they buy the third bag?According to these answers, I draw the black bag on the blackbored and write the functions(Write) The black bag is nice .Its big !Then I draw another bag ,and write: The blue one is big and light.Itll be easy for Lingling. I will show these adjectives with clour chalk ,because I want to explain to the pupils that these adjectives can be in defferent places.After these,the pupils can understand the dialogue ,I let them read it in groups.Then do exerciseStep 4 Consolidation.In order to training the pupils ability of speaking English, and the ability of cooperating, so I design this activity.I show these pictures ,let them practise in pairs.One talks about it ,the other guesses what it is .For example:(show the dress),one pupil says Its yellow, its very beautiful.The other says :Its a yellow dress.,Make a song.Before this ,they have learnt an English song , Where did you go ?Now show these sentences (show) let the pupils try to sing it by using that songs melody.The blue bags big,the green ones small.The black bag is heavy.The blue bags big,the green ones small.The black bag is heavy.I like this blue bag,its big ,light and easy,I dont like that two bags,because theyre heavy and small.The pupils have learnt nearly forty minutes, maybe they are tired,so I design this act
