Unit8 Whats Your Dream 【单元总目标】本单元的教学内容是以梦想为主要话题,通过对职业的复习,引入对新课的讲,让学生展望未来、畅谈理想,在学习语言知识的同时,努力帮助学生形成积极的情感态度,树立将康的人生观,并鼓励他们为实现梦想而努力奋斗,使之具备明确的学习目标。本单元的主要功能结构有:What is your dream? I want/hope to be a / an and Did you have a dream when you were young? Yes. I wanted / hoped to be a / an . and .要求学生能熟记本单元的新授词汇,能理解并熟练使用本单元的功能语句进行会话,并完成相关的语用活动。本单元的教学分为4个课时。第一课时以Part A中Lets learn部分的词汇教学为主,教学内容紧扣时代脉搏,能有效扩充学生的视野;第二课时学习Part A中Lets talk部分的对话,理解课文话题内容和意义所在,并能运用所学功能结构进行语用练习,从而能学以致用,较真实地、畅所欲言地表述自己的梦想,并从现在开始立志为实现自己的梦想而努力奋斗;第三课时学习Part B的Lets learn more部分,该部分是虚拟互联网发帖回帖的语篇教学,通过以互联网为载体的语篇学习,进一步加强和拓展运用本单元功能语言句;第四课时进行单元复习,完成本单元Part B和Part C部分的其余活动和检测,是对学生听、说、读、写及语言综合运用能力的培养和提升。【单元具体目标】知识目标一、能听、说、读、写以下词汇:become a tour guide, travel around the world, land on the moon, go to college, join the National Team, study the stars。二、能听懂、会说、会读、会用下列句型:1.What is your dream?I want / hope to be a/an. and .2. Did you have a dream when you were young?Yes. I wanted / hoped to be a / an . and .三、能用英语真实地表达自己的梦想。情感目标一、引导学生从小树立远大的理想,并为之努力奋斗,具备明确的学习目标。二、培养学生的自信心,鼓励其大胆、真实地表达想法。三、引导学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务Unit8 Whats Your Dream 第1课时教学设计【内容来源】陕旅教育出版社六年级下册 Unit8【主 题】Warming-up: Ask and answer, Lets learn, Lets chant【课 时】第1课时一、教学目标1. 能听、说、读、写词汇:become a tour guide, travel around the world, land on the moon, go to college Join the National Team, study the stars。2. 能用I want to .初步表述自己的梦想3. 能积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。二、教学准备1. 教师准备Lets learn部分的词汇教学卡片。2. 教师准备本课时的PPT教学课件。3 教师准备Lets learn和Lets chant部分的教学音频。4. 教师准备一个沙包。三、教学方法建议课程导入(Leading In)(1)课前问答Part A Warming-up: Ask and answer1. 教师借助本部分的对话示范,挑选三四个学生进行问答,复习已学过的职业词汇:T: What is your father?S1: He is a driver / police officer /.T: What does your mother do?S1: She is a teacher / nurse / reporter / .2. 请学生结合实际情况就彼此家人的工作自由会话。(2)新课导入教师检查学生的会话情况,并继续话题,逐步引人新课。S1: Whats your father?S2: He is a doctor.T: Your father is a doctor, so do you want to be a doctor?S2: No.(根据学生的回答教师随机发问。如果回答是Yes. 教师可以总结为:Well. You want to be a doctor.)T: What do you want to be then?S2:1 want to be a singer / an actor /.(引导学生回答)课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(presentation)(1)新课展示Part A Lets learn1. 教授词组study the stars, land on the moon, travel around the world, become a tour guide和go to college。教师借助课件和图片,讲述“我的梦想”,尽吋能真实地将五个词组串起来。以下内容可供教师参考:(1)课件展示句型I wanted to .并做陈述:T: when I was 12.I wanted to be a scientist. I liked little stars very much. I watched the little stars in the sky and wondered what they are. I wanted to study the stars.课件同步呈现短语study the stars和图片。(2) T: I wanted to study the stars. I wanted to fly up to the sky. I wanted to land on the moon.课件呈现航天员登上月球的图片,引出词组land on the moon,引导学生先发好land的音,并记住意思“落地、着陆”,从而记住整个词组。(3) T: When I was sixteen,I hoped to become a tour guide because I hoped to travel around Shanxi Province, and I hoped to travel around the world.课件中在wanted旁边出现hoped,以示意思相近。课件出示导游图片,教师也可手拿旅行社的旗子帮助学生理解,课件出示所在省份的著名景点和相应表达,继而呈现词组travel around the world。领读几遍,并鼓励加以运用,如:travel around China / the USA / Australia / the countries in the southeast(4) T: When I was 18, I wanted to go to college.课件同步呈现某一知名师范大学的背景和go to college短语。T: I wanted to go to college because I wanted to be a teacher.2. 带领学生再次回顾自己不同年龄段的梦想,进行这五个词组的学习。学生跟读,并尝试用I want to . 练习、巩间这五个词组。教师在确保大部分学生已经掌握了五个词组之后,引导学生根据实际情况更真实地表述各自的梦想,如:S1: I want to become a police officer.S2:1 want to travel around Beijing.S3:1 want to go to Tsinghua College (University).(可以适当为学生讲解这两个单词的区别,让学生有所了解)S4: I want to study the .教师可结合学生的回答,与他们谈论更多关于理想的话题,在拉近师生间距离的同时有效延伸课本知识。教学小贴士1. 在小学阶段我们所接触的study有“学习、研究、书房”的意思。2. college和university的区别:college一般指高等专科学院或综合大学中的学院,美语中也指大学。而university指综合性大学,一般而言,college可以是 university 的一部分。3. 教授词组join the National Team课件呈现姚明进人国家队的图片,并用He wanted to join the National Team. He wanted to join the Basketball Team of China. 帮助学生理解National Team的意思。在确保学生能顺利说出短语之后,引导学生用更丰富的语言表述其梦想。S1: I want to join the National Swimming Team.S2:I want to land on Mars. (Mars之前没有the,教师可用repeat的方式纠正)(2)巩固活动1. 教师播放Lets learn部分的录音,让学生边看图边跟读本部分的词汇。2. 采用学生领读、组内互助学习等方式拼读短语。操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities)(1)“幸运沙包”游戏教师手拿沙包随意抛给一位学生,问道:What do you want to be?该学生回答I want / hope to . 后可以继续拋出沙包。如果遇到表达有问题的学生教师要委婉地予以纠正。这个游戏随机性较大,便于教师更全面地检测学生的学习效果,而且随着年龄的增长,六年级学生在课堂上主动性和积极性都有所下降,以游戏的方式进行练习有助于提高学生的学习积极性,并且能尽量避免学生产生自己是被逼迫学习的情绪。(2)Part B Lets chant教师视教学安排,播放本部分录音的读词部分,在学生跟读熟悉歌词之后,再播放说唱部分,让学生边欣赏边学着说唱即可。若时间允许,可在学生说唱熟练之后,将他们分为两大组对唱,一组说唱一段,另一组说唱第二段。【板书设计】Unit8 Whats Your Dream 第2课时教学设计【内容来源】陕旅教育出版社六年级下册 Unit8【主 题】Warming-up: Think and circle, Lets talk, Lets guess, Listen and tick or cross【课 时】第2课时一、教学目标1. 能听懂并理解Lets talk部分的对话内容。2. 能完整熟练地朗读对话,并能模仿运用以下功能结构就自己和他人的理想进行会话:(1) Whats your dream?I want / hope to be a / an . and .(2) Did you have a dream when you were young?Yes. I wanted / hoped to be a / an . and .3. 引导学生从小树立远大的理想,并为之努力奋斗,具备明确的学习目标。二、教学准备1. 教师准备Lets talk部分的教学挂图或本课时的PPT教学课件。2. 教师准备Lets talk和Listen and tick or cross部分的教学音频。3. 教师准备几张大小相同的纸条(足够写下两句英语即可)。三、教学方法建议课程导入(Leading In)(1)课前热身Part A Warming-up: Think and circle课件出示本部分的图片,带领学生快速说出每幅图片中的职业,学生容易忘记或混淆的,需要多重复几遍。之后尽可能多地使用本节课将要学习到的语言知识,采访个别学生,其间可通过肢体语言帮助学生理解,逐步导入新课。T: Boys and girls, we will have an English class meeting today. I would like to be a scientist. / I would like to study the stars.T: What would you like to be, S2?S2:I would like to be .结合学生对语言知识的运用情况与学生进行自由地交流,也可以帮助学生回答,引导学生尽量回答完整,并尽可能多地重复would you like .和课文中将要出现的语句,加深学生的理解。之后,让学生根据圈选结果进行会话。(2)新课导入在学生进行充分热身后,教师回转话题,导入新课:T: Well. What was my dream?课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(presentation)(1)新课展示Part A: Lets talk1. 承接上一话题,课件呈现师范大学的背景,教师讲解生词dream, come true帮助学生理解:T: When I was 18, I wanted to go to college because I had a dream. I like English and children very much, so I wanted to be an English teacher. I wanted to help my students realize their dreams. I studied hard, and then 1 went to college. I made my dream come true. You see, Im a teacher now.板书并领读单词dream,继续讲解T: Can you guess my dream when I was 12?课件出示我12岁的照片和study the stars的图片。T: I wanted to be a scientist. I wanted to study the stars.Whats your dream, S1?(课件出示课题,并板书,观看学生的反应,如果不懂,可以用What do you want to be in the future?再提问一遍,让他们逐渐明白这两句话意思相近)S1:I want to be a scientist.(引导学生回答)T: Sounds great. But its not easy to be a scientist.(用手势环绕全班所有的人,并摇头) The dream is very difficult to come true.(面露难色) You must study hard.(握拳做努力状) Maybe you will make your dream come true one day, and you will become a scientist.(用肯定、激励的眼神看着学生)板书并领读短语come true。T: Whats your dream, S1?S2: I want to be a .T: Why?S2: Because .(根据学生应用英语的能力与学生进行交流,也可以帮助学生回答,为学生提供更丰富的话题,并为后续的教学做铺垫)T: Boys and girls, we will have an English class meeting today. We will talk about the topic “Our Dreams”.向学生出示英语版本的课程表,注意突出显示课程安排中的“班会”课,帮助学生理解class meeting的意思。然后板书本节课的话题Our Dreams,帮助学生理解talk about的大致意思。2. 出示Lets talk部分的挂图,介绍新课:T: This is Wu Chen. She had a class meeting today. They also talked about their dreams at the class meeting. Lets try to know Wu Chens dream.(1) 课件出示问题:Whats Wu Chens dream? Whats her fathers dream?然后播放Lets talk的教学视频。要求学生认真听,认真看,并在看完对话视频后,回答问题。教师通过学生的回答情况,了解学生对对话的理解情况。(2) 让学生打开课本,再看一遍对话。然后课件出示问题:What does Wu Chens father do? Did his dream come true? Why?(3) 课件出示Wu Chens father wanted toand, but he is a _now. His dream _come true.教师带领学生完成课件上的填空Wu Chens father wanted to be a tour guide and travel around the world, but he is a worker now. His dream didnt come true.这样通过引导学生对Wu Chens father的梦想和职业的比较和思考,帮助学生更进一步理解对话内容。并通过探讨梦想没有实现的原因,引出并重点教授句型Its difficult to come true.和I will study hard from now on.T: Did his dream come true? Is he a tour guide now?Ss: No.T: Why? Can you guess?Ss: .T: Maybe you are right. There were many reasons. Maybe he couldnt speak English well. Maybe he didnt study hard in the past. Maybe . (重复学生刚才猜想的回答,既帮他们纠正一些不可避兔的语法错误,又进一步总结种种困难,帮助学生更好地理解下一句话Its difficult to come true.) So, it was difficult to come true. And Wu Chen wants to be a scientist. Its difficult to come true, too. I will study hard from now on.适时进行情感渗透,告诉学生为了实现自己远大的理想必须付出必要的努力,从现在开始要刻苦学习,为实现自己的理想而奋斗。3. 整体回顾对话,全面理解,并进行听说练习,可以以两人对话(Pair work)的形式重点练习功能句:S1: Did you have a dream when you were young?S2: Yes. I wanted / hoped to be a / an . and .(2)巩固活动1. 播放Lets talk部分的录音,要求学生模仿其语音语调跟读对话。2. 课件呈现如下内容,让学生根据课文内容,补充完整:Dad: What did you talk about at your _today?Wu Chen: We _our dreams.Dad: _then?Wu Chen: I want to be a _and _.Dad. _But its _to come true.Wu Chen. I know. And I will _from now on.Did you _when you were young, Dad?Dad: Yes. I wanted to be a _and_.Wu Chen: Did it _?Dad: No. You see, I am a _.让学生以抢答的形式完成填空,通过对课文对话的填空练习,再次回顾对话中重要的词汇和句型,强化学生的理解和记忆。最后可让学生尝试复述对话并进行对活表演。操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities)(1)Part C Listen and tick or cross1. 让学生大声读题目,明白题目要求。然后引导学生根据图片所呈现的内容,猜测他们的梦想,讲行大概描述。2. 播放Listen and tick or cross部分的录音,学生认真听录音,进行初步判断。本部分的录音内容如下:Mr. Li: Whats your dream, Nancy?Nancy : I want to join the National Swimming Team.Mr. Li: And you, Tim? Whats your dream?Tim: I want to travel around the world.Mr. Li: How about you, Bob?Bob: I hope to land on the moon one day!Mr. Li: Whats your dream, Julie?J0lie: I want to go to a good college and become a doctor.3. 再次播放录音,请学生重复对话内容,并核对答案。参考答案:1. 2. 3. 4.(2)Part B Lets guess1. 将学生分为若干小组,然后将所准备的纸条分发给学生,让他们把各自的梦想邻纸条上(纸条上不要写名字),然后把写好的纸条收集起来扣在桌子上。2. 由一位学生随意抽取一张纸条,并念出纸条上写的梦想,然后请组内其他学生猜是谁的梦想。3. 有人猜中后,纸条的主人站起来大声说:Yes. This is my dream. I want to be a / an . , because .教师注意鼓励孩子尽可能多地说出关于梦想的语句,并及时评价每组的活动情况。【板书设计】Unit8 Whats Your Dream 第3课时教学设计【内容来源】陕旅教育出版社六年级下册 Unit8【主 题】Lets learn more, Look and talk about Sams dreams【课 时】第3课时一、教学目标1. 能听懂并现解Lets learn more部分的内容。2. 能较为流利地朗读课文内容。3. 了解一些关于在网络发帖、回帖的操作步骤,并尝试在网络上发表或回复关于梦想的英语帖子。4. 锻炼自学能力、阅读策略和创新能力。二、教学准备1. 教师准备:(1) 若干白纸以及印有网络发帖、回帖背景的截图。(2) 本课时的PPT教学课件。(3) Lets chant和Lets learn more部分的教学音频。2.学生准备:若干张便利贴纸。三、教学方法建议课程导入(Leading In)(1)课前热身Part B Lets chantT: Dear children, since you all have your dreams. Lets make a chant about your dreams. OK?1. 教师播放本单元Lets chant部分的录音或课件,引导学生加入拍手、点脚尖、轻触桌面等动作有节奏地复习跟唱。2. 师生一起仿照本部分的内容自由创编歌谣。如:If you have a dream,Youll be able to run.Run on the grass,To smell beautiful flowers.3. 学生自由组合,先试着说一说彼此的梦想,再尝试找出其中的节奏和韵律,说唱出自己的梦想,大家边欣赏,边在心现重复、学习。4. 教师和学生评价各小组自编的歌谣,尽可能多地发现学生的亮点,鼓励他们的创新意识和创作精仲,快速激活课堂。(2)新课导入T: Boys and girls, do you still remember my dreams? Today, we will get to know the dreams of some friends. They talked about their dreams on the Internet. Please look at the big screen.1. 借助场景导入,初步理解课文。教师展示课件,以网络发帖、回帖为背景图,向学生提供一个较为真实的网络场景,教师在课件播放课文音频的同时,可以以PPT“打字机”的方式逐步呈现文字信息,让学生初步理解课文大意,并用铅笔画出每个人的梦想。这样让学生有目的地听和读,有助于快速掌握课文重要信息,了解大致框架。2. 再听录音,细读课文,完成连线。本部分课文没有过多的生词,虽然是一个篇幅较长的表述,但其实是4个彼此相对独立的信息,没荷太多必然的联系,较好理解,学生也比较容易读。这四个人的梦想很直观,学生可以独立且快速完成。本课时建议以教师引导学生自学为主的方式进行教学。(1) 合作学习,共同完成学习任务。教师可以让英语基础较好的学生发挥带头作用,以小组为单位进行合作学习,共同完成听、说、读和理解的任务。(2) 教师检测学习效果,进行评价。(3) 挑选4个小组组长,分別领读一个段落,学生跟读。学生从语音、语调、流利程度等方面对组长的朗读进行评价,给予他们积极的评价与指导。(4) 分小组朗读,每组朗读一段,学生们互评。(5) 每组中挑选阅读能力相对较弱的学生一起朗读课文,鼓励进步比较明显的学生,对小组学习效果进行表扬。(6) 学生抢答。a. Whats Lemontrees / Superplayers / Rainbowl23s / Bobos dream?并对学生的回答进行纠正或评价。b. 让学生结合他们自己的理解,尝试通过肢体语言或英语来解释句子。I think (指指头做思考状) we need more (not only one, maybe 10, 20, . many) players like Yao Ming and Lin Shuhao.Maybe I will join the National Team one day (in the future).I believe (Im sure) work hard (study hard) and my dream will come true (I can study computer science one day).让学生进行词汇解释,有助于他们更好地理解课文,培养他们的英语思维和提高他们的语言表达能力。(7) 总结、评价。对学生小组合作学习的效果进行总结和整体评价,对学习效果好的小组提出表扬,告诉大家他们好在哪里。并奖励表现突出和进步较大的学生。3. 教师播放录音,让学生跟随录音默念课文,再次认真读完课文后,尝试完成文后的练习Read again and match。4. 请个别学生说出连线的答案,并读出文中相应的句子。其他同学用对或错的手势进行判断,纠正或补充完整答案。(2)巩固活动1. 播放Lets learn more部分的录音,要求学生模仿其语音语调跟读。2. 朗读接力。每位学生读一句,然后喊下一位学生的名字让他(她)继续朗读。让学生们有秩序地快速进行,检测学生学习效果的同时,培养每位学生专注地听的习惯。操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities)(1)Part C Look and talk about Sams dreams这个对话练习意在考查学生的综合语言运用能力,建议以小组的形式进行。1. 带领学生朗读题目,明确题目要求。2. 朗读本部分的对话示例,让学生观看图片以及图片下方标注的短语和数字,明白数字的意思表示at the age of/when he was . ,短语表示Sams dreams。明确应该谈论的话题之后,让学生思考如何进行表达。3. 先在小组内合作完成对话,鼓励学生尽可能用不同的表达方式进行对话。然后,教师检查完成情况。根据所剩时间和学生的完成情况,可以分角色练习朗读、演读对话。为将要进行的书写训练打下基础。(2)小练笔1. 教师演示最简单、直接的发帖步骤,将几句简短的关于梦想的话题发在网上,演示并讲解回帖步骤。2. 若受客观条件限制无法上网,可以让学生将歌谣、诗歌等形式的关于梦想的英文小练笔与在便利贴上,粘贴在教师为每组学生准备的以网络发帖为背景的内纸上,然后将每组的“帖子”粘贴在班级后面的黑板上,全班可以交流学习,也可用铅笔批改。最后从文笔、书写规范、内容等方面进行评价。3. 布置家庭作业,将完成的小练笔进行修改后回帖到网上。教学小贴士在网上发帖子的流程:1. 相对较复杂:找论坛(或者帖吧)注册账号资料填写发帖。大多数的网站在注册后,会自动跳转到相应的页面,接下来即可选择相应的版块发帖。2. 比较容易操作的。举例说明:可以通过搜狗问问询问,并点击提交问题。如何回帖:在帖子右下角点击回复,输人文宁,输入验证码后点击发送。【板书设计】Unit8 Whats Your Dream 第4课时教学设计【内容来源】陕旅教育出版社六年级下册 Unit8【主 题】Read for fun, Talk in groups, Read and complete the sentences【课 时】第4课时一、教学目标1. 通过阅读及其他动,提升阅读理解和应用语言的能力。2. 能就家人、朋友等人的梦想相互交流。二、教学准备1. 教师准备:(1) 本课时的PPT教学课件。(2) Read for fun部分的教学音频。2. 学生准备:彩色的小鸟、气球、飞船等形状的剪纸。三、教学方法建议课程导入(Leading In)(1)课前热身Find a friend让学生把他们上节课的小练笔轻轻地揉成团,学生们齐喊“1,2,3”后闭眼拋出自己的小练笔。然后捡起自己附近的小纸团,每人一个。随机指定个别学生念出捡到的小练笔,教师引导学生用Its .s dream. .wants / wanted to . 被点到名字的小练笔主人站起来问Do / Did you also want to .? 请拿到相同梦想小纸团的学生帮助寻找拥有相同理想的朋友,然后请这些“拥有共同理想”志同道合的“朋友们”将手叠放在一起,彼此鼓励We will study hard from now on!引导学生全面参与交流学习活动,快速激活课堂。(2)新课导入我爱记词汇在热身环节,课堂气氛被调动起来之后,进行背记词汇活动。学生以组为单位进行抢答,并默写出相应的词汇。最后进行批改,对正确率最高的组进行表扬。课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(presentation)(1)Part B Read for fun1. 课件出示整篇短文,并提出问题。然后播放本部分的录音,要求学生认真听,了解故事中小鸡的梦想。以下问题可供参考:(1) Whats t
