Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen. Its my great pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. Today Im going to talk about Unit 4 Where is my backpack? Section A. Which is from Go for it 7A.Part1. Let me talk about the teaching material.The topic in this lesson is about “ Things around the house” .By study of Section A, the Ss know about “Wheres/ Wherere ? Its/ Theyre oninunder”And make sure that they can use preposition “on in under” to describe the position of different things. Part2 Ill say something about the Teaching objective.1. Perception objective:a. The Ss can hear , read , and use the main words :table, bed, dresser, bookcase ,sofa ,chair ,drawer , plant , bag , on , in , under.b. The Ss can hear , read , and use the main sentences Wheres my backpack? Its oninunderbehindnext to the chair2. Ability objective: a. Foster the students thinking in English.b. Train their skills of using the language and develop their independent learning skills.c. Foster the communicative competence and innovation capacity.3. Emotion objective:a. By completing the task , the Ss increase their interest and set up self-confidence in language study.b. Training the Ss in a spirit of cooperation ,c. Encourage students to understand and care for themselves and others, home environment, love their own homes, the get a healthy lifestyle.Part 3. The key and difficult points: First of all , to study and use the sentences “Where is / are ?” “ Its / Theyre ” and describe the position of different things using “on , in , under”. Secondly , teach the Ss how to study independently as well ad by cooperation. Part 4. Teaching Methods:If you want a good interesting English lessons, design each step carefully, its very impotent to find useful teaching methods. And in my lesson , I adopt the scene-activity teaching method, Multimedia teaching method, task based teaching method. Through multimedia, physical, body language, and pictures, create life language situation, let each student participation in listening, speaking, reading, guess, performances, and a kinds of learning activities, stimulate students interest in learning.Part 5. Studying Method:Let Ss study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere, Ss understand the new knowledge in certain degree through the mental process of seeing , hearing , saying , observing , imagining, thinking .And make preparation for completing the new study task. Develop the Ss abilities of studying and working with learning language independently.Part 6. And for that my teaching procedures are as follow.Step 1. Warming-up1. Greeting. (1) 2. Sing a song. The furniture (2)It is very impotent to form the Ss a good English surrounding by singing. Step 2. Revision and presentation.1. Review the things in Unit 2. Ss can get into the new lesson from some familiar things. (2)2. Give a real situation to lead in the new lesson. (3)Task 1. Find out the things in the picture. Review some words the Ss have learned ,then present the new words. With Flash on the screen display furniture of pictures, students read and say in a relaxing atmosphere to learn and master these new words. In this step , I also teach the Ss how to memorize the words in a easier way. For example: bookcase.3.Using object teaching method , using pictures let the Ss know about the single forms and the plural forms of words. By that way they can understand them easily. (2)4. Present the preposition “ on in under ”. Ask the SS practice about the three words using their pencil and pencil-case. The process used to be in the form of the chant , this will help the Ss keep the words in their mind. (3)Step 3. Practice (Teacher-student interaction, learning) 1.Give the Ss a real situation: Jimmy is a careless boy, he always leaving his things. Will you help he find out the things that he needed. Please do 1B. Before listen to the tape ,tell the Ss catch the key words when they do the listening exercisers. We must not only teach the Ss knowledge, but also teach them about learning methods. (4)2. Shows several groups of pictures, lead in the key sentences in the lesson. Where is /are-? Its / Theyre-. (5)Ss works in pairs through the picture to consolidate and deepen the understanding of the key sentence.3. Play a guessing game. (5) Task 2. Show a picture , ask “ Where is /are ?” The Ss discuss in groups , ask a leader say the answer out. Step 4. Consolidation and extensionTask 3. Divide the Ss in groups and ask them play a searching game. By creating everyday language scenarios, students can exchange the language knowledge to their own. (4)Task 4. Find the differences.Draw two pictures on the blackboard , ask the Ss in groups find what is different. Ask the leaders present the results. The purpose of this step is making the Ss know that they should keep good habits. And keep their own room clean and tidy. It is a mention education . (5)Step 5. Summary 1. Pair work: Finish the blanks in the screen. Through this step , the Ss can summarize more about the target language in this lesson . (3)2. Ask the students summarize the things they learned in the lesson. In this way , the students can check that if they have got some knowledge in this class. (2)3. Chant . The students can keep the new knowledge in an interesting way. (2)Step 6. Homework (2) Ask the Ss design their own ideal rooms , and draw them out. And add a English description next to the picture.
