Is this a?Step2 presentation1. Show some pictures and objects to teach new words. eg: whats this? What are these? New words: table bed sofa chair bed plant drawer hat desk room Alarm clock dresser drawer 2. Design some scene to teach prepositions: in, on, under, near, beside, behind, next to eg: wheres the backpack? Its in /on /under /near /behind the chair. Where are my keys? Theyre in /on /under /behind/beside/ the desk.Step3 pairwork (1c) Let the students ask and answer in pairs. Eg: wheres the book? Its on the backpack. Wherere the keys? Theyre in the pencil case.Step4 consolidate (1a) 1. Let the students match the words with the things in the picture. 2. Students make up dialogues about picture in 1a in pairs. Eg: wheres the plant? A: No, it isnt. B: Is it in the desk? A: Yes, It is.Step2 New words learning (1a)1. Teach new words: math ,video,video tape,tape2. Let them match the words with the things in the picture in 1a,then describe tommys room.Step3 Looking and writing Let them write down the things they remember in tommys room.Step4 Pairwork (1C) S1 ask and S2 answer the questions,S2 close the book. Eg: S1: excuse me, wheres the notebook? S2: its on the bed.Step5 Listening (2a, 2c) Play the recording, the students finish 2a and 2b.
