Learn some new words and phrases:sand, cut down, change into, prevent, prevent from, human being, although, law, turn off2. Learn some useful sentences: (1) I couldnt see anything, and my face hurt while I was walking down the street just now. (2) Pass laws against water pollution. (3) Remember to turn the tap off when you leave.3. Continue to learn the indefinite pronoun and adverb.4. Learn to talk about pollution and its harm. Teaching aids 教具幻灯片/录音机/图片. Five-finger Teaching Plan 五指教学方案Step 1 Review 第一步 复习(时间:5分钟)通过方格游戏,来复习不定代词和不定副词的用法。(让同桌两人做一个33的方格,将上节课Section A中2的10个不定代词(everyone和everybody任选其一)放入方格中。教师事先准备九道练习题,答案就是方格中的九个不定代词。教师将这些习题逐一呈现出来,同桌两人抢圈答案,谁抢到的多谁获胜。在此过程中,教师每呈现一题就要核对一次答案。)(供参考)(表格及习题如下:)noneothersomethingeveryone everybodynobodyanythingeverywhereanybodyothers(1) None of us knows how to stop the bad behavior.(2) I knocked on the door but nobody answered.(3) Some of these books are better than others.(4) She was driving the car with one hand and wiping the window with the other.(5) Its a good car but I am looking for something faster.(6) You cant believe anything she says.(7) Therere 5 000 people living here and almost everyone/everybody has his/her own car.(8) Hes cleverer than anybody I know.(9) Ive looked everywhere but I cant find it.Step 2 Presentation 第二步 呈现(时间:15分钟)通过多媒体呈现1c中的图片,创造情景对话,呈现新单词和词组,学习1a。1. (呈现1c中的图片,学习新词汇。)T:Look at these pictures then tell me your feelings. First look at Picture 2.T:(指着第二幅图。) Is the scenery beautiful?Ss:Yes.T:OK. Lets look at Picture 4. Is it beautiful?Ss:No.T:What has happened to the forest?Ss:It has gone.T:Yes. People have cut down too many trees.(板书并要求学生掌握。)cut downT:Please look at Picture 1. A lot of earth has been washed away. Find and talk about the language points and difficult points, then Ill ask some students to give their answers to class. Step 3 Consolidation 第三步 巩固(时间:8分钟)教师放1a录音,学生表演朗读,完成1b。让学生明白树木在环境保护中的重要性,增强环保意识。1. (让学生跟读1a录音,并注意语音语调。)T:Now, please read after the tape. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. 2. (让学生三人一组表演这个对话,稍后检查活动成果。)T:Please work in groups of three. After a while, Ill ask several groups to act out this dialog. G1: G2: 3. (让学生看1b的图片,完成1b。)T:Lets look at the picture in 1b. Make notes of trees functions according to 1a by yourselves. (学生完成后,让学生一个接一个地把答案读出来。)T:Please read your notes one by one. S1:Step 4 Practice 第四步 练习(时间:10分钟)教师展示一幅水被污染的图片,呈现2中的新词汇。让学生懂得怎样保护和节约水资源。1. T:Now we know that a lot of water can be saved by forests. Why should we save water?Ss:Because it is very important.T:Thats right. Without water, well die. So we should protect water.(展示一条被工厂污染的河的图片,引出2中的新词汇。)T:Look at the picture. Can people drink the water in the river?Ss:No.T:Why?Ss:Because the water is too dirty.T:What causes it?Ss:Factories are pouring waste water into the river.T:Yes. What can we do to stop it?S1:Pull down the factories.S2:Write to the newspaper.S3:T:Yes. We can stop factories pouring waste water into rivers by cutting off their water supply. And we can also pass laws against it.(板书并要求学生掌握。) law T: What other ways of protecting and saving water do you know? For example, remember to turn the tap off when you leave. T: Now, read 2 and discuss in groups of four.(小组代表报告,教师板书总结。)Step 5 Project 第五步 综合探究活动(时间:7分钟)综合运用本课的语言项目,探讨水资源保护的相关问题;课后写一篇有关“保护和节约水资源”的短文,进一步增强学生的环保意识。1. (让学生讨论如下问题,为写作做准备。)T:OK. We know water is very important to human beings. Now please talk about the following questions:(1)Why should we save water?(2)Whats the importance of water?(3)Whats the importance of saving water?(4)How should we save water?(讨论完后汇报结果。教师将关键词板书,以利于学生写作。)2.
