生物物理博士英文自我介绍 生物物理博士英文自我介绍 iplantobeginmyph.d.degreestudyinyourbiophysicsprograminthefalltermof1995andwishtoobtainthedegreewithinfiveyearsorso. biophysicsdevelopsfastwiththefruitsofmodernphysicsandchemistry.thereisawiderangeoffascinatingquestionsinunderstandinglifesystems.duringtheseyearsstudyattsinghuauniversity,iconstantlytriedtoimprovemyselfthroughindependentreading.thiskeptmewellinformedofthelatestdevelopmentinbiophysicswhichattractsmealot. e.schrodingersfamousworkwhatislifeletmethinkalotofquestionsinbiophysics.uptonow,physicisthavemadegreatsuessinstudyingsimpleperiodiccrystals,butfortheplexbiologicalstructurespossessbothaperiodicityandordersuchasdna,therestillexistmanychallenges.whytheseaperiodicmattercancontrolthelifestrictlyandprecisely?whyasmallamountofnaturecatalyst-enzymecanbefarmoreefficientthanplentyofman-madecatalysts?isthegrowthoflifedeterminedbygeicmaterialsorbyself-assemblyorbybothofthem?fromthebookliquidcrystalsandbiologicalstructureswrittenbyglennh.brownandjeromej.wolken,igotdeeperunderstandingofbiologicalstructureswhichpossessbothmobilityandlong-rangestructureorder,respondtoavarietyofexternalstimulijustlikethepropertiesofliquidcrystals.thestrikingarchitectureatthemolecularlevelshowsthereisamonphysical-chemicaloriginforalllifesystems.theorientedmoleculesinliquidcrystalsfurnishanidealmediumforcatalyticaction,particularlyoftheplextypeneededtoaountforgrowthandreproduction.water,especiallytheweakhydrogenbondplayscriticalroleinallorganism.itdeterminestheproteinfolding,stabilizesthedoublehelixstructureofdna.ifwesubstitutedeuteriumforhydrogen,thebiologicalsystemmaybedestroyed. manyphysicalandmathematicalapproachescanbeappliedtobiologysuchasthequantummechanics,non-equilibriumthermodynamics,informationtheory.butabasicdifficultbyusingthenon-equilibriumthermodynamicsinbiologyisthespatialheterogeneityinbiologicalsystemsandthefeedbackexistinginallkindsofreactionsandprocesses.condensedmatterphysicsalsoconcernscloselywithbiophysics.thetheoryofphasetransitionsandcriticalphenomenacanbeusedtoexplainproblemssuchashowthetemperatureofthephasetransitionoflipidsfromthesolidstatetotheliquidcrystallinedependsonthefattyacidposition. ontheotherhand,researchesinbiophysicsalsopushforwardthedevelopmentofphysics,leadtomoreapplicationsinbionicssuchasaiandneuralwork nowiamdoingmydiplomathesisattheinstituteofphysics,chineseacademyofscience.mytopicisaboutinvestigatingcoherentbackscatteringinarandomscatteringmediumbythehe-newlaser.lightincertaindielectricmicrostructuresexhibitslocalizedmodes,similartothelocalizedwavefunctionofelectronsindisorderedsolids-andersonlocalization.thepropagationoflightinascatteringmediumcanbedescribedasrandomwalkofphotonswiththedirectionofeachsueedingstepdeterminedbythelawsofprobability.thetopicspansthedisciplinesofcondensedmatterphysicsandquantumopties.ihaveabsorbedalotofrelativeknowledgesuchasrandomwalk,perorationmodelsstochasticprocesstoprepareformyproject.ithinkthemethodidynamicsofchemicalreactions. sincemybackgroundfocusedonphysics,mathematics,electronics,lasersandoptics,ihavetaughtmyselfsomebeginningbiologyandchemistrycoursesthisyear,discussedthemwithteachersinthedeptofbiologicalscienceandtechnologyattsinghuauniversityiwouldalsoliketotakemorebasiccoursesinthisfieldunderyourguidancetomakeupmydeficiency.fromcollegeguidesilearnedwithpleasurethatyouhadstrongfacultywithavarietyofbackgroundinphysics,chemistry,mathematicsandelectricalengineering.itisofteninthemulti-disciplinaryresearchthatcamethemostexcitingdiscovery.yourgroupalsoprovidesoutstandingopportunitiesforcloseinteractionbetweengraduatestudentsandfaculty.thatiswhyideemyourprogramasmybestchoice.besides,iwanttolinkmodernbiophysicswithchinesemedicinetogetprehensiveunderstandingoflife. goodmorning,dearprofessors: itsmyhonortointroducemyself.mynameisxxx,iamfromxxcountyxxprovince,decemberxxxxiwasborninapoorfamily,andmyparentsarefarmers,iloveandrespectthemverymuch.weweredelightwithmybeingafreshmaninseptember1997.luckily,iwaspermittedtobeagraduatestudentafter4yearscolorfullifeoncampus.ireceivedmybachelordegreexxinxxinstituteofscienceandtechnology,thenamasterdegreexxinxxuniversityofscienceandtechnology.forthose7yearsmymajorwasdiedesign.beforeireceivedmymasterdegree,ihaddonethesubjectofxxxxxxxxxxx.forthepast3years,ihavebeeninxxxxxxcollege,whereihavebeenandstillamateacher.iteachstudentsmachinedesignetc.ihavepublishedmorethan10first-authorpapers. thatsall,thanks!
