文档简介

GB 9743-1997ForewordThis standard is a revision of former editions GB 9743-88 and GB 1191-89 on the basis of adopting by equation of European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization (ETRTO) Yearbook-1994. This standard, which is formulated for the purpose of meeting the requirements of international economic trade and scientific technological communications as well as of speeding up the application of international standards and advanced standards abroad, has great changes in its technical part: Indication of the size of tyre is equal with European standard. Add T-class speed grade in the relationship table of speed grade and maximum running speed of tyres of different nominal rim diameters. Add some tyre specifications in the “80” series, “75” series, “65” series and “60” series. Cancel the specifications of the tyres that reserved for production and some specifications of the bias car tyres that have stopped for production domestically. Cancel the appearance quality standard for passenger car radial tyre, and cancel the warranty clause for tyre life. In the technical requirements, substitute the specific tyre performance indicators and test methods with normative references. Revise the inspection rules. Cancel the permission to use K-type rim and basically set up that 2nd shift can use rim in the schedule of basic parameter. Add the corresponding table between different air pressures and loads of passenger car radial tyre and the measuring air pressure of passenger car radial tyre. The bias passenger car tyre is listed as the reserve-for-production specification. This standard will replace GB 9743-88 and GB 1191-89 from the date of coming into effect. The Appendix A of this standard is a suggestive appendix. This standard was put forward by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of Peoples Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Tyres and Rims This standard was drafted by the Ministry of Chemical Industry Beijing Research and Design Institute of Rubber Industry, Liaoning Changzheng Tyre Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Zhengtai Rubber Factory. Main drafters of this standard: Shen Jianrong, Chen Minling, Ou Yanling, Wang Kexian, Liu Shifang, Shan Jibao and Wang Jinlan. This standard was first issued in January, 1965 (among which the passenger car radial tyre part issued in May, 1988), revised for the first time in October, 1974, and second time in March, 1982 and third in March, 1989. The National Technical Committee for Standardization of Tyres and Rims is entrusted to explain this standard. National Standard of the Peoples Republic of China GB 9743-1997 Passenger Car Tyre Replace GB 9743-88 GB 1191-89 Passenger car tyres1ScopeThis standard specifies the size of tyre, basic parameters, main dimensions, service conditions and features, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging. Note:1.The deviation of section width of new tyres should be 8.5%, and the deviation of external diameters of new tyres should be 1.0%.2.The static radius under load, the rolling radius and the maximum tyre dimension in service are referential data for use.3.When measuring the outer dimension condition, the measuring air pressure of standard tyre should be 180kPa, and that of the reinforced tyre should be 230kPa. 4.The type of internal tyre valve is Z1-02-1. In case the user requires using valves of other types, it is subject to be settled by the user and the manufacturer through negotiation. The tubeless tyre valve should see the national standard for tubeless tyre valve.5.The inflation pressure in the table is applicable to the speed grade Q and grades underneath. The Grade R.S, T.V and H.V tyres should increase 10kPa, 20kPa and 30kPa respectively according to the regulations in the table.6.This note is also applicable to Table 2, 3, 4 and 5. 4.2The maximum running speed of tyre should conform to the regulation in Table 13. 4.3Safety Performance4.3.1In the strength test, the breaking energy of passenger car tyre should not be lower than the requirements specified in Table 14. 4.3.2 Bead unseating resistance of tubeless tyres The bead unseating resistance of any testing point of tubeless tyre should not be lower than the minimum resistance in Table 15. 4.3.3Tyre endurance After a 34h endurance test, the air pressure inside tyre should not be lower than the initial value; the tyre appearance, when checked, should be free of defects such as (tyre tread, tyre wall, cord fabric, air-retaining wall, tread belt and bead) delamination, cord fabric cracks, cord yarn stripping, cord yarn breaking, tread block tear-out and joint crack. 4.3.4Tyre high speed performance After the high speed test, the air pressure inside tyre should not be lower than the initial value; the tyre appearance, when checked, should be free of defects such as (tyre tread, tyre wall, cord fabric, air-retaining wall, tread belt and bead) delamination, cord fabric cracks, cord yarn stripping, cord yarn breaking, tread block tear-out and joint crack.4.4Tyre wear markEach tyre should set up at least 4 marks with a remaining depth of 1.6mm at equal distance along the cycle through which one could observe the antiskid groove. The shoulder part at the two sides of the tyre should incise marks which indicate the position of tyre wear. 4.5Appearance quality The appearance of outer tyre should be free of defects that will seriously influence the service life of tyre, such as delamination of each part, sponginess, bead ring fracture, bead ring seriously drawn upward, several cord yarn broken, edge lifting of cord yarn inside tyre and tyre crown glue surging side with cord yarn. The appearance of rim band should be free of incomplete and band carcass broken. The other appearance quality requirements on outer tyre and rim band should refer to Appendix A (suggestive appendix).4.6Inner tyre If inner tyre is used, each inner tyre should be guaranteed with good air tightness. The size of inner tyre should conform to the service requirements of outer tyre. 5Testing Methods5.1The external diameter and section width of tyre after inflated should be measured according to GB/T 521; the measuring of air pressure of passenger car radial tyre should be carried out subject to regulations in Table 1; the static load performance of tyre should be measured according to HG/T 2443.5.2The tyre strength should be tested according to GB/T 4503.5.3The bead unseating resistance of tubeless tyre should be tested according to GB/T 4504.5.4The endurance performance of tyre should be tested according to GB/T 4502.5.5 The high speed performance of tyre should be tested according to GB/T 7034.6Inspection Rules6.1 The tyre should be inspected by the technical inspection department of the manufacturer according to this standard. 6.2The tyre should go through appearance quality inspection item by item. 6.3 Where the output of outer tyres of each size exceeds 10,000 per week, the products every two weeks should be taken as one batch; where not exceeds 10,000 per week, each 20,000 will be taken as one batch (those exceeds 20,000 should be another batch). Draw off 3 pieces from each batch where the first one is used in the test of external dimensions and bead unseating resistance (the bead unseating resistance test is unneeded if there is tube tyre), the second and the third one are used in endurance and high speed tests respectively. In case the output within 6 months since the production date is less than 20,000, inspections should also be carried out according to the above inspection items and tyre sampling numbers. 6.4 The tyre strength can go through model inspection during the tyre structure design, construction design, framework materials, process magnificent change or production line change. 6.5 Where
