The specific provision is as follows:0without sunshine1with sunshine4.2.3Temperature codeThe code can be divided into four categories in accordance with the temperature condition of the plastic product use, and is represented using an Arabic numeral. It is specifically described as follows:0Common, such as door plate blanking cover, seat regualting handle, etc. 1Middle, such as instrument panel lower shield, swtich retaining plate, bumper, lamp ring, door guard plate, etc. 2High, such as the instrument panel upper parts, ash pan, etc. 3Extremely High, such as engine piston cooling nonzzle, etc. 4.2.4Special requirement code When the plastic product has special performance requirement(s), the special requirement code is available, which is composed of the English letters and Arabic numerals. Its specific provision is as follows: TFricational resistance: For the body interior and exterior decorative accessories which have the colour fastness to rubbing performance requirement. FFlame retardance: For the body interior decorative accessaries which have the flame retardance requirement.SImpact resitance: For the plastic product which is subject to the impact effect. The impact resitance can be divided into three categories. Its specific provision is as follows:S1Common impact S2Middle impactS3High impactRChemical resistanc: For the plastic product which has the chemical resistance requirement. The test methods can be classified to four categories, with the specific provision as follows:R1Immersion test, for the container type productR2Soak test, for the parts in engine compartment and the chassis parts.R3Wipping test, for the body interior decorative accessories.R4Spot test, for the body exterior decorative accessories.4.3Label of feature code on drawingDefine the feature code of the plastic product in the feature code composition order provided in Section 4.2 in accordance with the installation position, service conditions and special requirements of plastic product, and label it in the Material column of the drawing.Label sample: Front side upper faceshield This product is a body exterior decorative accessories (its Position Code is W), with sunshine (its Sunshine Code is 1), on service under the middle temperature condition (its Temperature Code is 1), with the colour fasteness to rubbing requirement (with T), without flame retardance requirement (without F), has the middle impact requirement (with S2), SAIC CHERYGeneral Quality Standard for Common Plastic Products Used in AutomobileQB02 01015/12with chemical resistance requirement (plus R4), and thus its feature code is: W11TS2R4. Fill the following in the Material column of drawing: W11TS2R4 QB02 01015Technical Requirements5.1General requirementsThe performance of the common plastic products must conform to this standard, and these products are manufactured strictly in accordance with the drawings and related technical documents which are approved by the specified procedures. 5.2MaterialThe common plastic products must be made of the materials specified in drawing. It is prohibited to change the category of materials. The material property shall meet the requirement of standards concerned. 5.3Appearance5.3.1The surface of plastic product shall be smooth and flat, without cracks, deformation, bubbling, fins, burrs, ripples, scratches, and other defects. 5.3.2The surface of plastic product shall be clean, without the releasing agent and other contaminated materials. 5.3.3When there are the requirements on the texture, colour or gloss of the surface of plastic product, it shall conform to the provisions of related standards. 5.4IdentificationApart from the products which its markings fail to be printed due to the dimension factors, a permanent marking must be printed or moulded on the position of all plastic products which makes no influence on the quality of appearance, assembly requirements and service performance. The following shall be marked: a: Material mark: b: Part drawing number, plus Left (or L) or Right (or R) if the part is differentiated as left and right pieces: c: Name of manufacturer, abbr. or its logo: d: Manufacturing date, including year, month, etc.5.5Dimension5.5.1The dimension of common plastic products shall meet the requirement specified in drawing. 5.5.2The dimension which has no tolerance requirement shall conform to the requirements provided in GB/T14486.5.5.3For the dimension which has the tolerance requirement, it still shall conform to the requirements specified in drawing after the test provided in Section 7.2. 5.6PerformanceSAIC CHERYGeneral Quality Standard for Common Plastic Products Used in AutomobileQB02 01016/12The common plastic products shall meet the requirements described in Table 3 after the completion of the test items selected from Table 2 in accordance with the feature code.6General Condition of Test6.1Standard environmentThe standard environment of test shall conform to the related provisions specified in GB2918. 6.2Test sampleThe test sample shall be taken from the plastic products under the actual service conditions or the test pieces tailered in accordance with the related standards or test methods.6.3Preconditioning of test sampleThe test samples shall be randomly taken from the products with the staying time of at least 24h after manufacturing, or the test pieces tailered, and placed more than 4h in the environment specified in Section 6.1 prior to the test. 6.4Sample quantityThe quantity of test samples shall meet the requirements specified in the related standard and test methods: If there is no special provision, at least 3 test samples are required for any test. 6.5Evaluation of resultThe result shall be evaluated in accordance with the related standards: If there is no special provision, the result of test sample with the largest state change after test shall be evaluated. 7Test Method7.1Appearance7.1.1The appearance of common plastic products shall be visually evaluated.7.1.2The appearance shall be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of C021101 when the surface of plastic product has the texture and colour requirements: and evaulated in accordance with the provisions of C021102 when it has the gloss requirement.7.2Temperature resistance testThe temperature resistance test is designated to check the appearance and dimension (see 5.5.3) change of plastic products under the high temperature and cool-heat cycling conditions. This test item includes the high temperature resistance test and cool-heat cycling test. For the same one test sample, these tests shall be completed in sequence above, where a part of test samples are free from the high temperature resistance test. For the details, see Table 2. 7.2.1 Test conditionsSAIC CHERYGeneral Quality Standard for Common Plastic Products Used in AutomobileQB02 01017/12High temperature resistance test condition: For the products with different feature codes, its test conditions are shown in Table 4. Cool-heat cycling test condition: For the products with different feature codes, its test conditions are shown in Table 5, and its temperature variation is 2/min. 7.2.2Test procedureThe test shall be conducted in accordance with the test conditions specified in paragraph 7.2.1, and it shall be continueously implemented. After the completion of the test, the test samples shall be placed at room temperature for 0.5h, and the examination shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions described in Table 3. 7.3Impact resistance testThe test shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of C021301. For the test conditions in relation with the different impact grades, see Table 1.
