Play the game.Look at the picture on the book, and find out which object is missed.Homework: Say the new words to their parents.Blackboard: pen pencil book ruler pencil sharpener an eraser教学后记:这节课再一遍加强训练“This isnt ”,学生掌握得较为理想。在新词的教学中,pen,pencil,book,ruler这几个词学生掌握得比较理想,但pencil sharpener和an eraser,有一定的难度,所以学生掌握得比较慢。 第三课时Teaching aims: English letters: Ee Ff Gg Hh IiTeaching points: English lettersPreparation: Cards, pictures, tape.Steps:1. Review Revise : Hello! Whats your name? My name is .2. Talk togethera. T: Open your books.b. Read the words slowly and pointing to each word as you say it.3. Listen and number.a. T: This is Danny Deer.b. Have the children . Repeat the words as they point to the pictures in their books.c. Repeat the procedure for the other pictures, for example, :This is Danny.d. Play the tape, have the children touch the correct pictures.4. Introduce the letter Ee.a. T: This is Ee Have the children follow the teacher.b. T: eggs. Have them follow the word.5. Words that begin with letter Ee.a. Have the children look at the words that begin with Ee.b. Play the tape, and point to the right picture.6. Introcduce the letters Ff Gg Hh Ii.Use the same procedure ,and teach the children the English letters: Ff Gg Hh Ii.Homework: Copy the English letters.Blackboard: Ee Ff Gg Hh Ii教学后记: 这节课是学习了五个字母和几个含有这五个字母的单词,总体来说,学生学习得比较理想,基本上能按要求掌握这五个字母,效果不错。第四课时Teaching aims: Review : This is Danny. This isnt Lulu.Teaching points: Write the English letters.Preparation: Cards, pictures, tape.Steps:1. Write the letters Ee Ff Gg Hh Ii.a. Say: Watch me write the letter: E b. Repeat for the small letter :e c. Follow the same procedure for Ee Ff Gg Hh Ii2. Listen for Ee Ff Gg Hh Ii.a. Look at the pictures on the botten half of the page.b. Play the tape. As the children hear each word they should point to its beginning letter.3. Uncle Bookys Blackboard.a. T: This is Danny.b. Hold up your mask of Danny Deer.c. Hold up your mask of Mocky . And repeat the procedure.d. Then use the drillcards :This isnt Mocky.4. Touch and say a. Give the command: Open your book. And have the children act out.b. This isnt Lulu.”,学生再一次巩固这个知识点,所以掌握得比较好。但“Listen for E, F, G, H and I”这部分的五个词语有点难度,如insect一词,有部分学生未能完全掌握。第五课时Teaching aims: Review the words.Teaching points: the words.Preparation: Cards, pictures, tape.Steps:1. Match the namesa. Hold up the following flashcards, and ask the children to say them .b. Ask the children to draw a line between the names and the Names and the corresponding characters.2. Sing a song.Play the tape, and have the children sing a song.3. Lets chant a. Use pictures or real objects and review the following words.Elephant egg fireb. Use flashcards and have children practise reading these words.c. Read the rhyme to the children pointing to each word.d. Tell the children that they are going to learn about a naughty elephant.e. Play the tape for the whole rhyme and have the children listen and point to the words and matching pictures on the page.f. Play the tape, Show the children your book. Point to the picture to the tape.4. An additional activity: draw the friends.a. Tell them to complete the drawing of each character and color the pictures.b. Blackboard:Elephant, elephant Sit on the egg.“Ha” says the elephant“Help”,says the egg.教学后记: 这节课,我再给学生复习elephant, goat, fire, hand, insect这几个词语,学生掌握得比较理想。这节课教的rhyme,学生也学得很有劲头,不过“the ”的读音,下一节课还要强调。 第六课时Teaching aims: Hello! My name is Angela. This is Tommy.Teaching points: Storytime Preparation: Cards, pictures, tape.Steps:1. Review.Revise the vocabulary for this Unit by holding up the flashcards.2. Uncle Bookys storytime See Units 1 Page 24 for procedures.3. Game.This game reviews the structures: Hello! My names Angela, and this is Tommy.a. Have the children introduce themselves and their friends.b. Model the structures. Hello! My names (your own name) and This is (the English name)(c. Now have the children on your right . Say: Hello. My names Diana.This is Bobby.4. Bingo.a. Photocopy the bingo Gameboard for each child .b. See unit 1 Page 24 ,for the rules and procedure.Homework: Listen to the tape ,and learn how to introduce yourself.Blackboard: This is Danny.This is Tommy.教学后记: 这节课是整个单元的复习课,再次给学生复习巩固本单元的的主要句子“This is”以及“This isnt”,效果达到教学目标。Story Time部分学生非常感兴趣,学习气氛浓厚。Unit Three 第一课时Teaching aims: Whos this? Use the masks.2.Practise greetingsGather the six character masks of Ken, Ann, Mocky, Uncle Booky. Lulu,and Danny. Say, Here are your friends again. Lets greet them. Say, Hello, Ken. Hold up the Kenmask.3.Model the dialogPut the character masks along the blackboard ledge. Stand at the side of the room. Choose one child to be your helper. The helper points to each mask in turn. For each mask you ask,Whos that?”Model the answer, Thats (Ken).Repeat for the other five masks.4.Introduce new charactersDisplay the Cathy and Tommy masks on the other side of the room. Encourage the children to ask, Whos that?”and reply, Thats (Tommy.) Repeat for the other mask.Have the children ask and answer the question the question in pairs.5. Hes from Britain.教学后记:本节课的内容难度很大,教学效果不那么理想,有一部分学生未能正确区分“Whos this?”和“ Whos that?” ,而且“Britain”相当多的学生未能掌握。 第二课时Teaching aims: This activity reviews the difference between this and that.Teaching points: This activity reviews the difference between this and that.Preparation: Cards, pictures, tape.Steps:1. Warm-up Sing the song.2. Learn to sayGive the command, Open your books.” Draw the childrens attention to the picture at the top of the page.Have the children look at the national flags on the characters-shirts .Ask them if they can tell where they are from.Explain to the children that you want them to touch the character whose name they hear when you play the tape.Play the tape, pausing after each characters name. Check the children are touching the correct pictures before moving on.Choose four helpers to stand in front of the class. Addthe Wang Lings mask to the collection and give each helper a mask. Ask the class to name each character.Replay the tape. Pause after the first name on the tape and point to the helper who holds the Wang Lings mask.Say, This is Wang. Shes from China. Have Children repeat after you.Continue with the remaining names.3. Listen to thisHave the children open their books at page28. Draw their attention the Listen to this” pictures.Display your copy of the page and point to Tommy in the first pictures Ask, Whos this? The children should answer Tommy” pictures Ask, Whos this?” The children should answer Tommy”.Repeat this for the rest pictures.Explain to the class that you will play the tape and that you want them to write the number of the sentence pairs in the box beside each picture as they listen to the tape.Play the tape, pausing 2or 3 seconds after one pair of sentences at a time.Tell the children that you will play the tape again, and that this time you want them to check their answers.The whole class check answers: the teacher says a number and the children say the name of the character. 6.Set homeworkListen to the tape, read after the tape.Board Writing:This is Tommy. If the children cannot name them, have them find the letters on Uncle Bookys ABC. Write Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff, Gg, Hh and Ii on one corner of the board.Say, look at Uncle Bookys ABC and find the letters you know. Now look at the next letter. This is the letter Jj.”Write the letter Jj on the board. Then repeat, This is the letter E. Can you find the word that begins with J in Uncle Bookys
