特洛伊英文读后感 IhaveneverbeentoTroy,butDavidMaulemademefeelasifIwerestandingonthehighwallofTroy,watchingthefiercewar.ThankstothisBritishauthor,whoadaptedthefamousHomerspoemintoalivelystory,Ifounditeasiertounderstandthisstory.Thoughthestoryhappenedover3000yearsagoinaremoteplace,Iwasdeeplyfascinatedbyit.ThemysteriousplotisoneofthereasonswhyIlovedTheStoryofTroysomuch,yetIammoreinterestedinthehumanheroesofthewar.HectorwastheeldestsonofkingofTroy,Priam.HewasnotonlyarealheroofTrojan,butwasregardedthehighestmoralheroinGreekclassicbylaterhistorians.Thewarstartedbecauseofthemischiefofhisbrother,Paris,whomhedidntappreciate.However,sinceHectorwasthemanderoftheTrojanarmy,hewasobligedtofightwithallforce.Itwasreallyatragedythatsuchavaliantmandiedintheduelwithanothergreatwarrior,Achilles.Itisnaturaltoseedeathinawar.AsafamousChineseparablesays,“Alifecanbeasslightasapieceoffeather,orasweightyasMountTai.”Sometimes,onesglorywalkshandinhandwithonesdoom.Achilleswassuchatypicalperson.HispersonalcharmmadeTheStoryofTroymoreattractive.Hewassocrucialbecausehiseveryappearanceinawarencouragedhisfellowsoldiersandterrifiedtheenemies.Actually,Achilleswashalfgodwhowasalmostinvincibleinpeoplesmind.Thatswhyhisnamewasmemorizedlongafterhisdeath.Besidesthetwogreatmen,thewisdomofOdysseusalsoprovedhimtobeagreathero.Hedidntwanttoattendthewarbecausehewashappilymarriedandhadalovelyson.However,sincehiscountrywasalliedtoMycenae,hehadtotakethemandgivenbythekingofMycenae.Imquitesurethatthestoryofthewoodenhorseiswidelyknown,however,fewpeopleknowwhothoughtofthebrilliantidea,thatswhyIadmiredOdysseussomuchbecausehewasthepersonwhogottheidea.Thankstothehorse,thetenyearwarcametoanendatlast.Ifyouwanttoknowhowthewoodenhorseworked,justreadthebook.TheancientGreeksbelievedthatthegodsandgoddessesalsoplayedimportantrolesintheorigin,processandendingofthewholestory.Thestoryofthegoldenapplewassuchanexample.WhenEris,thegoddessofargumentanddisagreement,threwoutthegoldenappletoaweddingceremonyonMountOlympus,adisputehappened.Hera,thequeenofgods,Athena,thegoddessofwisdom,andAphrodite,thegoddessofloveandbeauty,wereallinvolvedintheargumentfortheapple.Noneofthemwaswillingtogiveway,sotheyturnedtoParisforafinaljudgment.TemptedbyAphroditesbeautyandpromise,Parishandedtheappletoher.Tokeepherword,AphroditehelpedhimtogetHelen,themostbeautifulwomanintheworld,ashiswife.Thatwasthecauseofthewar.Parisschoiceobviouslyannoyedtheothertwogoddesses.Soduringthewar,theyhelpedtheGreekalliancearmywhilesomeothergods,suchasApolloandAphrodite,guardedTroy.WhenParisdueledwithHelensformerhusbandMenelaus,AphroditesavedPariswhenhewasabouttobefinishedoff.Aftertheduelbetweenthosetwopeople,therewasatrucebetweentheGreekallianceandTroy.However,bothHeraandAthenawerenothappytoseeit.HerapursuedherhusbandZEUS:“Now,willyousendAthenatomaketheTroyjansbreakthepeace?”(Page22)ThenwithZeusspermission,AthenawentdowntostartthewaragainandfinallyshebroughttheGreekstosuccess. Fromthewholestory,wecanseethatinancientGreeksview,godssometimesplayedamuchmoreimportantroleintheirlife.However,withtherapiddevelopmentofscience,wehavelearnedthattheGreekgodsneverexisted.ThisiswhyarecentmovieofTroyhasnotmentionedasinglegod.Everythinghappenedduetomensambition,love,loyaltyorjealousy.Withthoseemotionandpeopleseffort,wehumanbeingscanacplishwondersandbemasteroftheworld.Godareoflessimportancethantheyusedtobe.Nonetheless,thegodsandgoddessesmadeTheStoryofTroymoremysteriousandmarve
