Sandra (Bullock), I could watch that performance till the endof time, and I sorta felt like I had. Julia (Roberts) , hashtag suck it! You know what I mean,and Judy Dench, what a career! And she's not here tonight, because at the age of 79 becauseshe's in India doing a sequel to her film. I mean, what a career that is, if I can hope. And me,Im here excepting an award in an extraordinary screenplay by Woody Allen. Thank you somuch, Woody, for casting me. I truly appreciate it. Im so very proud that Blue Jasmine stayedin the cinemas for as long as it did. And thank you to Sony Classics, to Michael and Tom fortheir extraordinary support.For so bravely and intelligently distributing the film and to the audiences who went to see it andperhaps those of us in the industry who are still foolishly clinging to the idea that female filmswith women at the center are niche experiences.
